JW has suggested anons update their DNS because some Internet Service Providers are trying to block 8kun.

So you don't want to use the default settings.

Some anons know a lot about DNS, others very little.

Here's some basic info and directions.

 

UPDATING DNS

  • dns is your gateway to internet

  • dns servers can block or choke sites they don't like and vice versa so changing them can help

  • this is illegal but they are doing it anyway
