TRUE THE VOTE LEADERS ARRESTED FOR DECLINING TO PROVIDE INFORMANT’S IDENTITY: REPORT
In a shocking turn of events, True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht and election intelligence specialist Gregg Phillips have been arrested, according to multiple sources.
The powerhouse duo who led the charge on uncovering mountains of evidence of a nationwide ballot trafficking conspiracy in Dinesh D’Souza’s “2000 Mules” film was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals for declining to provide the identity of one of their confidential informants, per The Post Millennial.
Independent journalist Ivory Hecker, formerly of Fox News, reported on Twitter that Federal Judge Kenneth Hoyt ordered the arrest. Engelbrecht and Phillips will reportedly be held in custody until they reveal the information that they have been withholding.
Per Hecker: “Judge says he never got a straight answer on who was in the Dallas hotel room January, 2021, and he doesn’t know how many people were there. Judge says the way Phillips and Engelbrecht talked suggest True the Vote did have access to the hacked computer data, though they deny it.”
Election Wizard reiterated the connection to the Konnech case on Truth Social. As previously reported by RSBN, CEO Eugene Yu of Konnech, a software company tangled in election data tracking, was arrested for allegedly taking poll workers’ information and reportedly storing it on Chinese computer servers.
Election Wizard, like many others, postulated that this arrest was “triggered by a complaint from Gregg Phillips of True the Vote. Konnech has said the allegations are false, and last month it sued Phillips, Englebrecht, and the organization for defamation.”
From The Post Millennial, Engelbrecht told the court in her testimony, “Every name I give you gets doxxed and harassed.”
Via True the Vote’s official Truth Social account, the team was anticipating their arrest and posted the following heartfelt message:
“Hi friends. Writing on the eve of what appears to be jail time.
Still praying it doesn’t happen. But if it does, be assured we won’t be gone forever. More importantly, know this:
Be strong. Be courageous. Lead with love. We are a lot more alike than we are different. You have been entrusted to hold the line for this time. You can do it. Finish strong.
This was sent to me today, touched my heart. Beautiful words from Zach Williams. Fear is a Liar.”
It is unclear how long Engelbrecht and Phillips will remain behind bars, or if they will give up the information regarding the informant sought by the federal judge in this case.
