RE-POAST FROM ENDCHAN UK BREAD
Hey when I was looking for potted palm tree Christmas sauces on HISPANIOLA, I did run across a new CRANE ‘stake in the ground’ quite by accident. In some random pics from a gourmet foodie article re HISP’s XMAS menu published 7DEC2013, caught some glimpses of ONE CRANE behind London Eye. Our previous stake in ground for ONE crane was 23NOV.

So now our target area to search when the SECOND crane appeared is between 6DEC and 14DEC. Eight days. Not bad.
p.s. I did presume they dined and took photos for the article on 6DEC, and posted the article the next day. Did presume the author would be anxious to post immediately to be a timely and relevant article for the holiday season.

REPOAST FROM DIG ON ENDCHAN UK BRED
When looking for open source pics and vids to help nail down the date of the Q pic we sometimes find errors in the stated ‘taken on’ date. But we can still pluck coals from the fire to help us even in such cases. Here is a Piccadilly Circus pic from Flickr allegedly from 29DEC2013. I beg to differ. The date cannot be true because the ‘Snow Globe’ erected around the Eros statue was destroyed by a storm with high winds which caused the deflation of the air-inflated globe six days prior on 23DEC2013. We just happened to know that fact from prior digging on the weather that holiday season in the hopes we could eliminate some bad weather days for the Q pics.
Now, knowing said pic is not from the date stated, we can look for other known markers from the Q pics such as small evergreen tree decorations on the Cool Brittania store front and those red 75% Off Holiday Sale signs in the store front windows of said store.
First, about the posted Flickr pic. Says taken on 29DEC. It’s likely this is an unintentional error and that it was merely posted on that date. Not taken.
In some sites the submission date is auromatically filled like a time stamp.
Now, about those window decorations at Cool Britannia. Those window flower boxes are used year-round with seasonal variations. This Flickr pic’s window DECORATIONS DON’T MATCH THE Q PIC because they are short and squared like square-trimmed boxwood hedges. We can use that. And, the store front windows lack those 75% Off Sale signs seen in the Q Piccadilly pics. We can use that.
The Flickr pic was taken before 23DEC because of the snow globe. Changing gears, but using the ssme markers, we happen to have found a Ytube vid ‘taken’ on 9DEC which also lacks both the holiday evergreens and the 75% Off Sale signs. This means the Q Piccadilly pics are definitely AFTER this 9DEC2013 vid just on the evergreen decorations alone. But the 75% Off Holiday Sale signs at Cool Britannia store point to the Q pics being much later in that holiday season.

There is a Cool Britannia vid that was posted 23DEC2013 showing the red 75% Off Holiday Sale signs in the store windows. But, can’t prove the sale began the date the vid was posted.
But this is the first sauce documenting the time period close to the sale. Vid was submitted by CB so my speculation is they were doing it to advertise the sale. Reminder, the Q pics show these signs. vvvvvvvvvv

Here’s a pic from a Guardian article. The photo description says it!’s from 3DEC2013. Notice the LG G2 electronic ad board showing what may be the exact image that is seen in the Q pic at Piccadilly.
This is a pic from I believe 23DEC2013, the night the Eros statue Snow Globe was destroyed. You can see the styrofoam pellet fake snow that escaped and was all over the streets. Also seen are the lighted evergreen tree decorations on the store front of the Cool Britannia store. Sorry forgot to save sauce on pic.

MOAR OBS RE THE 75% OFF HOLIDAY SALE MARKER: Tourist vids of Piccadilly taken on 31DEC2013 do NOT have the red holiday sale signs. So, although this anon believes the Q Piccadilly pics were taken close to 23DEC, the sauce bookends for PICCADILLY are a vid on 9DEC not having said sale signs and a 31DEC series of NYE vids which also do not show the 75% Off Holiday Sale signs. These are hard bookends pointing to the Q Piccadilly pics being taken between 10DEC and 30DEC. Imho though, the Piccadilly pics were likely taken between 23DEC and 30DEC. One moar observation: there are no vehicles seen in the Q pics of Piccadilly, a very high traffic area. On Christmas Day all bus and public transportation is stopped. Only private hire taxis and buses may be available. Even the Embankment and Corinthia Hotel pics lack buses in them. There is the Red Bus pic of an early model Routemaster bus on Coventry Street near Piccadilly. Those old buses are no longer in public service however. Therefore, the pic may show a private hire bus on Christmas Day. Notice the bud quite clean of the usual advertisements seen on London buses.

A dig on when the EVERGREENS marker appeared at COOL BRITANNIA may be a better marker to pursue due to those decorations (which are seen in the Q pics) being placed sometime after 9DEC2013.
She’s a beauty. I know it’s a PRIVATE so I guess they are allowed to paint London Transport on the side as a kinda historical markings that they once had? Sure looks a nice match for RED BUS.
