I could be dense here, but I also don’t understand the “support the $8 checkmark boycott and show them the door” section. Don’t we WANT $8 checkmark fee so it levels the playing field? I’m a tad confused? ‘Splain it to an old anon…

I think it should be pointed out that the WH has LONG LONG LONG used Twitter as its propaganda arm…until naow….heh heh…

Perhaps if the red wave happens we will hear screaming the likes we haven’t heard yet…and then THEY will be screaming “steal”.

Again…this train wreck is speeding up fellas…the movie is getting good. Popcorn…you’ll wanna get some.

I think I see what you’re saying.

My fave meme from a day or so ago:

Existing blue checkmarks are not upset at having to pay $8. They are upset that YOU can pay $8 and get that kind of reach.

So there’s yet another weird side to the whole thing.

Y’all want to start a Twitter war (of good vs. evil), because THAT is how you start a Twitter war!

I joined Twitter for the first time in my life the day Mr. Musk took over. If this takes off and if it’s the right thing to do, I’ll gladly pay muh 8 bucks.

On the complete other hand…I can’t help wondering why a billionaire is somehow worried about revenue? Possibly to pay the employees? Am I being dense here?

I guess all the positives to the $8 blue check outweigh any negatives or misunderstandings I have.
