Meteorite crashes into house in California.
They could be using hyper-dimensional energy to try and start WW3. The meteorite comes wizzing in, looks like it makes a turn, but it could be the car driving on a bend. It's akin to the alien ship crash in California from "War Of The Worlds" 1953 movie. Spoopy nonetheless.
