lots of $$ spent on ads from dc promoting the third party candidates
schmidt lost by 15 thousand votes
the "independent' and the 'libertarian" received 30 thousand
none from any democrats as they were both 'conservative"
when kobach ran for governor in 2018 he lost by 53 thousand and the "independent' got 68 thousand
