When I first found the chans I was shocked, but there were enough tidbits of truth that I kept going. And eventually, you learn to tune out what you don't want to see. This was such an important skill–using our own brains to choose for ourselves— that they have trained us out of doing. We need to use our own brains to filter, or we can't separate fact from fiction and truth from lie. We really DO need newcomers to relearn how to use their own brains to do their own filtering, or they won't be free from being able to be manipulated.
