Reporter: One hundred-forty five 'election deniers' running for the US House have won their races. How does [Biden] assess the state of US democracy and the health of that democracy when so many 'election deniers' are being elected to congress; the majority of the republican caucus?

Jean-Pierre: [Biden] still believes that our democracy is still under threat, and that the American people have to defend it. Part of that is rejecting election lies, or those who would use violence to overthrow democracy.

Jean-Pierre: What's clear in this weeks election, is that Americans don't want to see a constitutional right that they had for fifty years taken away.

Jean-Pierre: What we saw was that the American people rejected the MAGA extremism…they want to take away our freedoms, take away our rights…They had extreme views, even as 'election deniers', even on democracy.
