Dr. Scott Atlas: We can never let these people go unaccountable, or they will do it again…if there is no accountability, this will happen again.
Representative Thomas Massie: We are living under medical malpractice martial law right now, under the PREP Act. A lot of people think we're under the 1986 Vaccine Injury Compensation Fund regime. No! You can't even apply for that. The PREP Act, the federal law, overrides all state liability laws.

Dr. Scott Atlas: If you don't have NIH grants in your CV [curriculum vitae], you can't get promoted in a university science department, so you're not going to see a lot of assistant professors, entry-level professors, start criticizing the heads of the NIH. I mean, that's career suicide…by the way, the same people in charge of the funding are in charge of the scientific journals, and they're also in charge of the whole university department's office. So it's a cartel of people, who not only control the careers and the funding, they also determine what is useful to fund.
