Based out of Offutt Nebraska but they follow POTUS & VP around so they can be temporarily based almost anywhere.
They usually land at an airport that is close to but different the one used by AF1 or AF2 to minimise loss of communications in case of attack.
They like playing sneaky tricks, that's what makes this so frustrating but also sorta fun at the same time.
Another CAP just popped up E of Richmond Va. Looks like he might be replacing the first one I caught.
Another just launched out of Dulles. Definitely looks like something might be going down.
Civil Air Patrol can also be tasked with a whole host of tasks - to assist local authorities/police/spotting wildfires/missing hikers etc.
