Text Messages Show Anti-Trump Winsome Sears Supporting Communism

Winsome Sears attacked America First congressional candidate Jarome Bell for his opposition to communism.

Winsome Sears, Virginia’s anti-Trump, GOP Lt. Governor, expressed her support for communism in a series of text messages that have been exclusively obtained by National File. In the texts, Sears attacked America First candidate Jarome Bell and disavowed efforts to safeguard America from hostile influence and infiltration operations, like those of the Chinese Communist Party.

“Please explain your quote on [Joe] McCarthy,” Winsome Sears wrote to Jarome Bell in a December 2021 text message, scolding him for anti-communist remarks he made in an interview with Breitbart News.

The message kicked off a string of others like it, with Sears making clear her opposition to taking on the communist threat against the United States.

Winsome Sears’ seeming endorsement of communism, or at least of letting communism slide in the name of political correctness, came just over a month after she was elected to be Virginia’s Lt. Governor, supposedly as the MAGA member of Glenn Youngkin’s GOP ticket.

“When you decided to agree with [Joe] McCarthy, that was not a good move,” Winsome Sears went on to write to Bell, completely dismissing the well-documented communist threat.

In the interview, which was held during Bell’s GOP Primary campaign for Congress, the 27-year Navy vet was reflecting on the deep and long-term infiltration of America’s government by communists and hostile communist powers, like the CCP.

He proposed bringing back the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC) to root out communist infiltrators and stare down the CCP threat. In its 1950s heyday, the HUAC was closely associated with anti-communist Senator Joe McCarthy.

“You know the old Joe McCarthy witch hunts,” Bell said in the 2021 interview.

“Joe McCarthy got a bad rap, but you know what? It turns out that he was 100% correct the whole time. We do have a commie takeover at the highest levels of government,” Bell, then a congressional candidate, told Breitbart’s, Matt Boyle.

Communism has been infiltrating the United States, “probably going back to the reliable racist Democrat Woodrow Wilson,” Bell said in the interview, adding that “communism is not compatible with Western Civilization.”

Though history has proven that McCarthy, his Senate committee, and the HUAC were right about communism, Sears parroted the usual left-wing claims used to deride the deceased Wisconsin Senator and World War 2 veteran in her lambasting of Jarome Bell’s anti-communist platform.

In subsequent text messages that have also been exclusively obtained by National File, Winsome Sears called Bell’s anti-communist stances “indefensible” and claimed that “there was no way that Joe McCarthy was a decent human being.”

Bell tried to encourage Sears to join him in taking a leading role in fighting communism, especially as it targets the black community most severely, but she refused, continuing to bash Bell, McCarthy, and the generational fight against communism in America.

Nevada Democrat Gov. Sisolak concedes defeat in reelection bid

Sisolak in his concession announcement also defended his decision to close businesses during the pandemic.

Nevada Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak on Friday conceded that he had lost his bid for reelection.

The concession follows the Associated Press calling the race for GOP challenger Joe Lombardo.

"It appears we will fall a percentage point or so short of winning," Sisolak said in a statement.

In his concession announcement, Sisolak defended his decision to close businesses during the pandemic, saying they "helped save an estimated 30,000 Nevada lives even if those decisions sometimes had tough political ramifications," according to local ABC-TV affiliate KOLO-8.

Biden Administration Launches Multimillion-Dollar ‘Climate Gender Equity Fund’ to Address Inequalities

President Joe Biden announced the launch of his multimillion-dollar “Climate Gender Equity Fund” to address purported inequalities women face in climate finance at the United Nations COP 27 climate conference in Egypt on Friday.

The Climate Gender Equity Fund will “leverage private sector contributions to help provide women climate leaders with technical skills, networks, and capital to develop and scale climate solutions,” according to a White House statement.

The program will have initial seed funding of $6 million, with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) matching e-commerce giant Amazon’s $3 million investment.

Amazon said the program will have a “global focus” and “help women access the networks and technical skills they need to accelerate the development of their climate change technologies.”

Amazon worldwide sustainability vice president Kara Hurst said:

As an important step in solving climate change, we must address the gender inequalities that persist in climate finance, and ensure female entrepreneurs have an equal seat at the table and access to the funding, networks, and technical support they need to scale climate solutions. We’re proud to collaborate with USAID and the Biden administration to help scale women-led climate solutions globally.

Amazon added that “female-founded companies typically receive a fraction of total venture capital, and that percentage fell during the pandemic.” Amazon also announced it would allocate an additional $50 million from its Climate Pledge Fund to invest in women-founded and women-led climate tech companies.

Biden’s White House also launched, among other programs, the “Indigenous Peoples Finance Access Facility,” a $2 million program that will “enable the continued climate stewardship by Indigenous peoples and local communities improving their access to climate finance.”

The multimillion-dollar Climate Gender Equity Fund comes after Biden signed a $430 billion climate spending bill under the guise of fighting inflation.
