Who are the Silent Thieves?
Central banks and their member banks that create money out of thin air causing the supply of money and credit to increase faster than the supply of goods and services. As costs go up, the people who created the money and/or were able to use the money first benefit by being able to purchase goods and services at uninflated prices. But as the money moves through the economy, the folks who got the money later now have to pay higher prices resulting in a transfer of wealth from regular folks to the banks, central banks and governments.
Why are they manipulating you?
They are able to become obscenely wealthy. With wealth comes power.

Bubble.
Bubbles are created when central bank money flows into a particular sector of the economy, such as housing or stocks.
Crash.
When central banks raise interest rates and start to remove money from the system, bubbles start to deflate, and many times crash.
Something generally not understood is the fact that during bubbles, because money is cheap (interest rates are low and costs to borrow are cheap), many businesses are started that should not have been started except for the fact that money is cheap. So, when central banks raise interest rates, those malinvestments (bad investments made by entrepreneurs, investors and speculators) need to be cleared from the system and go bust, leading to the crash.
