Russian Federation Representative at UN: If this meeting [today] had not been scheduled, we would have had to convene it, to discuss attempts by Ukraine and Poland to provoke a direct clash between Russia and NATO.
Russian Federation Representative at UN: From the very beginning, they [Poland] unequivocally stated that they were the target of Russian attack. The foreign minister of this country summoned the Russian ambassador in the middle of the night, to resister their resolute protest. This, in spite of the fact that photos published in social media in the wake of the event leave no doubt that it was Ukrainian air defense missiles that crossed into Poland. And now this has been confirmed by NATO and overall in the west.
Russian Federation Representative at UN: I can't fail to mention that Ukrainian air defense systems have long had a bad reputation. At least since the moment when, in October [4th] 2001 over the Black Sea, during military exercises, a Russian civilian airliner was shot down, flying from Tel Aviv, to Novosibirsk. Seventy-eight people died on board.
[one month after 9/11; an event I don't think I ever heard of]
Russian Federation Representative at UN: We would not find ourselves in this situation, if not for the fact that, in 2014, in Kiev, with the direct participation of a number of western states, a bloody, unconstitutional coup had not taken place. And the leaders of that coup chose from the very first day, the path of distorting history, and driving out the use of the Russian language, and thus provoked an acute civilian conflict.
Russian Federation Representative at UN: It would be naive to think that all the assistance provided by the west, all the military and financial support of Ukraine, is used as intended. We have provided quite a bit of evidence how a significant part of these weapons fall into the hands of terrorists and criminals, fueling conflicts around the world. A huge amount of equipment is simply stolen.
Russian Federation Representative at UN: On the 7th of November, a group of American experts was sent to Ukraine to verify the supplies of weapons to Kiev. It turns out, the United States monitors just 1/10th of these weapons, twenty-two thousand units. The fate of the rest of the weapons sent is unknown.
Russian Federation Representative at UN: As a result of bankruptcy of a major American cryptocurrency exchange, FTX, and literal disappearance of billions of assetsโฆvery entertaining facts are emerging about the context of that exchange with Ukrainian authorities. The founder and owner of that exchange happens to be one of the biggest donors of the US democratic party, which is playing a key role in providing assistance to Kiev.
