27 Counties in Illinois Pass Referendums to Explore Seccession From State

Communities throughout the state of Illinois are held hostage in every election by broken, crime-ridden, Democrat controlled Cook County.

On Election Day 2022, voters in 27 counties in the state passed non-binding referendums urging elected officials to participate in conversations focused on ending ties with the state.

In the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton “won” the state. But the maps shows the majority of geographic areas did not. Millions of Illinoians are left voiceless and unable to impact state-wide and national races.

Non-profit New Illinois is educating Illinois citizens about the process of pursuing the creation of a new state.

New Illinois is a nonprofit organization that educates Illinois citizens about their right to pursue the creation of new state from the State of Illinois. We are seeking a state split, following the process provided in the U.S. Constitution (Article IV, Sec. 3). This is the same way that West Virginia split from Virginia.

We are a addressing longstanding divide in the State of Illinois. This divide is not between Democrats and Republicans—it is urban vs. rural, small town and suburban. We are two very different places, both culturally and economically. Legislation and policies addressing the needs and best interests of a major urban area like Chicago/Cook County are not necessarily in the best interests of the rest of the state.

From NBC Chicago:

On Election Day in Illinois, ballots contained statewide questions ranging from whether or not to amend the state’s constitution, to who should be the next Governor of Illinois, to who should sit on the Illinois State Supreme Court.

But some local ballots contained questions about whether to leave the state altogether.

Tuesday, two Illinois counties and a portion of another passed non-binding referendums that would encourage their elected officials to engage in discussions about potentially severing ties with the state government.

The votes were hardly a new phenomenon. Instead, they join a growing list of Illinois counties seeking to express their displeasure with lawmakers.

Previously, at least 24 counties had passed so-called “separation referendums,” according to reporting by Illinois Public Media. The three new additions to that list, Brown, Hardin, and the northeastern portion of Madison County, would bring that number to 27, representing more than 25% of the state’s 102 counties.

According to IPM, 23 counties had previously passed separation referendums after the 2020 elections, including Clark, Clay, Crawford, Cumberland, Edwards, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Hancock, Jefferson, Johnson, Lawrence, Marion, Massac, Moultrie, Pope, Richland, Shelby, Wabash, Wayne and Whiteside.

House GOP brings bill to audit Ukraine spending – nearing $103 billion

Several Republicans in the House of Representatives introduced a bill on Thursday to audit the aid the U.S. has given to Ukraine since Russia launched its invasion of the country in February. The audit bill comes as the U.S. has already sent about $66 billion this year and could surpass $103 billion if a new spending request is approved for Ukraine.

To date, lawmakers have approved a two tranches of money for Ukraine in March, May and September of this year, worth $13.6 billion, $40 billion and $12.3 billion respectively. This week, President Joe Biden asked Congress to authorize another $37.7 billion in funding for Ukraine, which would bring U.S. aid for Ukraine since Russia attacked to about $103.6 billion.

The Daily Caller first reported on Thursday that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) had introduced legislation — along with fellow Republican Reps. Matt Gaetz (FL), Paul Gosar (AZ), Thomas Massiev (KY), Andy Biggs (Az), Barry Moore (AL), Matt Rosendale (MT), Andrew Clyde (GA), Dan Bishop (NC), Greg Steube (FL) and Clay Higgins (LA) — to audit all military, civilian and financial aid given to Ukraine under President Biden.

“The American people deserve [to know] where their hard earned tax dollars are going to a foreign country who is not a member of NATO and President Biden himself said he would not defend,” Greene told The Daily Caller.

Greene also tweeted a video on Thursday of wounded Ukrainian soldiers walking through the halls of Congress.

“It is heartbreaking to see these disabled Ukrainian soldiers here in the halls of Congress being used as pawns to pressure our Congress to give American’s hard earned tax dollars to Zelensky,” Greene said. “I’m calling for an audit of funds to Ukraine and to fund and secure our border.”

Qatar bans sale of alcohol at World Cup stadiums, in U-turn two days before 1st game

In deal to secure competition, conservative Muslim emirate agreed to FIFA requirement on alcoholic drinks; beer sponsor Budweiser tweets ‘Well, this is awkward…’ before deleting

Qatar banned the sale of beer at World Cup stadiums on Friday, a sudden U-turn on the deal it made to secure the soccer tournament — only two days before the opening game.

The move was the latest sign of the tension of hosting the event, which is not just a sports tournament but also a monthlong party, in the conservative Muslim emirate where the sale of alcohol is heavily restricted. It’s also a significant blow to World Cup beer sponsor Budweiser and raised questions about how much control FIFA retains over its tournament.

When Qatar launched its bid to host the the tournament, the country agreed to FIFA’s requirements of selling alcohol in stadiums — but the details were only released in September, just 11 weeks before the first kickoff, a suggestion of how fraught the negotiations may have been. Friday’s statement from FIFA said non-alcoholic beer will still be sold at the eight stadiums, while champagne, wine, whiskey and other alcohol will still be served in the luxury hospitality areas of the arenas.

But the vast majority of ticket holders don’t have access to those areas — though they will be able to drink alcoholic beer in the evenings in what is known as the FIFA Fan Festival, a designated party area that also offers live music and activities. Outside of the tournament-run areas, Qatar puts strict limits on the purchase and consumption of alcohol, though its sale has been permitted in hotel bars for years.

“Following discussions between host country authorities and FIFA, a decision has been made to focus the sale of alcoholic beverages on the FIFA Fan Festival, other fan destinations and licensed venues, removing sales points of beer from … stadium perimeters,” FIFA said in a statement.

Pompeo tweaks Trump, says GOP ‘tired of losing’

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday took a swipe at former President Trump ahead of a speech to conservatives in Nevada, saying many in the Republican Party are “tired of losing.”

“We were told we’d get tired of winning. But I’m tired of losing. And so are most Republicans,” Pompeo tweeted, promoting his appearance later in the day at the Republican Jewish Coalition gathering in Las Vegas.

Pompeo’s tweet was a reference to Trump’s refrain during campaign rallies in 2016 and 2020 that the GOP and United States more broadly would get “tired of winning” because of all the successes of his administration.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) took a similar shot at Trump earlier in the week.

“How about this? When Donald Trump won in 2016, he said we were going to get so tired of winning we would ask him to stop winning so much,” Christie told a gathering of Republican governors, noting the party lost House seats in 2018, the White House in 2020 and winnable Senate races in 2022.

“I’m tired of losing,” Christie added.

Pompeo has openly teased a possible 2024 White House bid, appearing in early primary states like Iowa and New Hampshire. He has held back from directly naming Trump in his criticisms, but has in recent days taken veiled shots at his former boss.

Trump announced his 2024 candidacy on Tuesday at his Mar-a-Lago estate, though Pompeo told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt that Trump’s announcement would have no bearing on his own decision on whether to run for president.

Pompeo is one of several former Trump administration officials who are weighing potential 2024 presidential bids, along with former Vice President Mike Pence and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

The former secretary of State will join other potential GOP presidential contenders set to address the conference in Nevada this weekend, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Pence.

Child sexual abuse: new guidelines for first responders

The exponential growth in online child sexual exploitation and abuse material (CSEM) is a significant challenge for European law enforcement agencies. For officers responding to potential victims of CSEM, this means they need to be equipped with the necessary skills and training to swiftly act in the best interests of the child.

To assist these first responding officers, a new set of training guidelines have been published today on the occasion of the European Day on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse. This toolkit is the result of a collaboration between Europol’s European Cybercrime Centre (EC3) and the European Cybercrime Training and Education Group (ECTEG) in the framework of the GRACE project.

The guidelines will equip first responding officers with the necessary knowledge to effectively handle delicate situations that take place at a victim’s close whereabouts, such as their home or school, often hidden from the eyes of the public.

The guidelines are prepared in a way that encompasses the unified standards that these officers can use in their daily work, equipping them with relevant information on how best to respond if they came across a child they believe is being subjected to sexual abuse.

The restricted version of these guidelines will be embedded into the ECTEG’s eFirst project, as part of the knowledge base that every law enforcement officer should be aware of, regardless of their field of work.

Democrat Adam Frisch Concedes to Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert – Does Not Want Recount for Some Reason

Democrat Adam Frisch conceded to Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert on Friday.

Frisch said he called Boebert and conceded.

The Democrat told reporters that his campaign is not asking for a recount, The Hill reported.

“We are not asking for this recount. It is one that the citizens of Colorado mandate through our election system,” he said, telling supporters not to donate to his campaign for the recount effort.

“Please save your money for your groceries, your rent, your children,” he said.

On Thursday night, Rep. Lauren Boebert, who represents Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, announced on her Twitter account that she had won the race.

“Great news tonight,” Rep. Boebert said. “As almost all the votes have finally been tallied, I’m told that there are less than 200 votes outstanding, which makes me so happy to announce we have won this race.”

“With this victory, and with Republicans in control of the House of Representatives, we can focus on the issues that actually matter most, including getting inflation under control, increasing our domestic energy supply, securing the southern border, and being a strong check on the White House,” she continued.

“I am honored to be your representative. I pray for you, and I am so grateful for you. God bless you tonight,” she concluded.

‘Serious, deliberate and unprecedented’: Liberal Party accuses Victorian Electoral Commission of election interference

The Liberal Party in Victoria has accused the electoral commission of “serious, deliberate and unprecedented” interference in the state's election.

The Victorian Liberal Party has accused the state’s electoral commission of interfering in the upcoming election by commentating on accusations of donations misconduct by Matthew Guy’s former chief of staff.

The investigation had been escalated by the VEC to the Independent Broad-based Anti-Corruption Commission on Wednesday "for further investigation".

A statement released on Friday from State Director Sam McQuestin said lawyers for the Victorian Liberal Party have issued a “cease and desist” notice to the VEC.

“It is the party’s view that these actions constitute a serious, deliberate and unprecedented interference in the Victorian state election,” the statement said.

“I am deeply concerned that through its actions the VEC has compromised its own independence and damaged public trust in the electoral process.”

A Doctor Is Facing $500 Billion In Fines For Promoting Vitamin D3 & Zinc During The Scamdemic

A St. Louis-based chiropractor, Dr. Eric Nepute is facing federal fines of about half a trillion dollars for allegedly profiting from sales of vitamin D3 and zinc supplements during the “pandemic.”

The 27-page complaint filed by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in April 2021 accused Dr. Nepute of profiting from the sales of supplements during the COVID-19 scamdemic. He sold vitamin D3 and zinc supplements, which have been proven to address COVID-19 infection, under the Wellness Warrior brand.

At the same time supplements are being discouraged, excessive deaths following the mRNA injections are ongoing and those who made said injections will not be held liable for any damages done.

Big Pharma Will Not Be Responsible For COVID-19 Side Effects Caused By Vaccines

“Starting no later than June 2020, [Nepute] began advertising a protocol that customers should follow to protect against, prevent or treat COVID-19. This protocol, which has varied over time, advises consumers to take [daily] substantial quantities of emulsified vitamin D3 and zinc,” the complaint stated. “No published studies prove vitamin D protects against, treats or prevents COVID-19.”

Detective Glenn Eddy blows lid on sickening tactics used on kids in court

One of the country’s top cops has blown the lid on tactics used by the defence on alleged child sexual abuse victims in court to “aggressively go after” them in the hope the case falls apart.

Detective Senior Constable Glenn Eddy, from the NSW Child Abuse Unit, is one of the state’s longest-serving and most experienced child abuse investigators.

A police officer for more than 23 years, Detective Eddy has spent the last 13 years attached to the Child Abuse Unit, where he has forensically interviewed more than 450 children.

“People would be shocked if they saw what really happens in court,” Detective Eddy tells

“I wouldn’t want to put my own kids through it. I wouldn’t want to put any kid through it. We are feeding them to the wolves.

“The defence will try to break the child. If that doesn’t work, they will try to trick them or confuse them.

“Some judges, they expect a five-year-old to behave the same as an adult when being cross examined, and so the defence aggressively go after the child.

“It can be a total lottery dip of which judge you get on the day. Some [judges] won’t allow [certain] evidence in. So you’re asking a jury to put together a jigsaw puzzle but you’re only giving them half the piece to work out the puzzle.”

Bolsonaro fought to support the trucking industry and keep Diesel prices low – so much that Diesel prices actually DECLINED in Brazil over the last months while Joe Biden’s failed policies were sending gas prices through the roof in the USA.

Moscow accuses Ukrainian soldiers of killing POWs (DISTURBING IMAGES)

A video has surfaced on social media showing what appear to be Kiev’s troops alongside executed Russian servicemen

The Russian Defense Ministry has accused Ukrainian forces of committing a war crime after a video surfaced on social media, on Friday, which appears to show captured Russian servicemen first alive and subsequently dead.

The footage depicts soldiers dressed in Russian uniforms first surrendering to troops in uniforms bearing Ukrainian insignia before being shown lying on the ground, presumably dead.

The ministry described the video as evidence of “the deliberate and methodical murder” of over ten Russian servicemen at the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who “shot them straight in their heads.” Such actions prove the “barbaric nature” of the government in Kiev led by President Vladimir Zelensky, as well as “all those, who defend and support it,” the statement added.

The video also purports to show one of the supposed Russian soldiers opening fire on the Ukrainians as his fellow servicemen already lie on the ground with their hands behind their heads. At least one of Kiev's fighters was allegedly injured in the incident, according to the footage. It is unclear how this particular episode was linked to what happened to the Russians next.

The Russian Presidential Human Rights Council reacted to the alleged incident by calling for an international probe into what its head, Valery Fadeev, described as a “demonstrative and audacious crime.”

“This is a violation of all possible conventions banning cruel treatment of captives, as well as of international law and moral norms,” Fadeev said in a statement, adding that “we will demand a reaction from the international community, as well as an investigation.” According to Fadeev, the UN Human Rights Office is already studying evidence of extrajudicial killings near the Ukrainian town of Kupyansk, as well as the shelling of a civilian river crossing in the city of Kherson.

Moscow will send the information on the alleged execution of Russian captives to the UN Human Rights Office, the Council of Europe, as well as Amnesty International, and the International Committee of the Red Cross, Fadeev added.

This is not the first high-profile incident supposedly involving Ukrainian troops and Russian prisoners-of-war. In late March, footage surfaced purportedly showing Ukrainian servicemen shooting Russians, under their care, in the legs at point-blank range.
