I understand why Trump would only want networks to hear part of speech, but not all since it was a private event, But he would not be so rude as to not at least imply that he was finished with his statement on Garland before pivoting to his private speech, right?

He put out a notice saying he would address Garlands SC
He wanted us to hear all of what he had to say, not just part of what he had to say about Garland.
