Digging on an old post, don't think we've ever resolved the second officer 187'd. Looking through summer news stories and came across these articles. Perhaps it was a 187 attempt, but the officer didn't die (although was left severely brain damaged). This officer was just released from rehab in May 2018, and was so severely injured, that he did not even recognize his wife for 7months.
