How could we not be? There are species in the galaxy who know where we and what we are doing. They must surely be curious to find out what happens next.

You seem pretty certain that the snake venom thing is total bunk but equally certain that the spike proteins are a real thing.
Are you willing to entertain the possibility that you may be wrong in both cases?
For my part, I refuse to be certain about anything because we have been fooled repeatedly. How many here were certain just a short time ago that vaccines actually worked to prevent disease? Or that the doctors and their institutions were working for the greater good?
Time will tell whether any of the things that we currently believe are not just more hokum.
