Thank you, baker. Happy Thanksgiving!

I ask all Anons to read 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5. But focus in particular on the bolded part, verse 18.

1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

Christian Living

12And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. 14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16Rejoice evermore. 17Pray without ceasing. 18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19Quench not the Spirit. 20Despise not prophesyings. 21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Final Blessings

23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

25Brethren, pray for us.

26Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. 27I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. {The first epistle unto the Thessalonians was written from Athens.

In every thing give thanks.

You do not have to be thankful FOR everything that happens, but you should be thankful to God IN all circumstances; for even when you are hurt, and put through difficult trials, and when you suffer, remember that through God's grace you are forgiven of your sins through the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ, that you might have everlasting life despite your many sins.

Look to Revelation Chapter 3, Verse 8-9. God speaks of the Cabal in verse 9.

8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

In the days of Moses, God gave us the Law. And it was quickly proven that mankind could not keep the law. We are a fallen and corrupted creation. Left to contend between Sin and the Law, every human being fails. In order that Mankind could be saved, God stepped into our world in a human bodyJesus Christ. And using his Godly perfection, he lived an immaculate life, and fulfilled the Law as no man ever had. And in his guiltlessness, willingly went to his death as a sacrifice; a sacrifice so pure and powerful that it had the power to obviate innumerable Sins. On our behalf did he do this: Jesus Christ intercedes for us and stands in Judgement so that we do not have toas each and every one of us would be found guilty if we stood in Judgement without Christ as our intercessor. Each and every sin we commit is equally and completely damning, for when we step out of line with God's plan, we cease to be of God. We become unclean, and cannot coexist with God. Through his sacrifice, Godas Jesus Christopens a pathway to cleanliness for us. Through his Grace, and his Love, and through his Faith in US, he pardons us for all the many mistakes he knows we will make.

All he asks is that we have faith in HIM and in HIS word, and that we believe that Jesus Christ died for us and was then resurrected by God.

It may suit you to listen to a great book by C.S. Lewis titled "What Christians Believe." This book finally helped me to begin to understand Salvation. Salvation is God's gift to all of us, we need only believe Him and accept it.

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
