I am grateful and thankful because together we have made incalculable progress against our ancestors' and our oppressors, and we have [THE ENEMY] nervous like they've never been nervous before.

In my own little corner of the world, thanks to you and the research skills y'all taught me here, I've been able to make a dent in the broken machine, and for that I am eternally grateful.

Yup, yup. Thanks, Anon. I have the unfortunate distinction of being related to someone who held positions of power in the "mainstream media" (television news) for years. He and his scumbag wife used to attend family functions, from time to time, and after a few VOs they would brag about the husband's ability to "manage the news" and make "all the little people" think whatever they (the bad guys) wanted to have "the little people" think.
