There was no informed consent. If they were truly informed, they would still not consent. Deception is not information. Informed means to know the truth. The note could be called but the restitution will never be possible.

I don't disagree with that particular statement/observation but I do maintain that there was no true consent. Bad decisions, misplaced trust and ignorance- yes.
They sure thought they knew, but if they did truly know they would be insane to take it or give it to their kids. They'll know soon.
