I have kitty also. Horse dewormer is given to all animals i have -including pigs& dogs. Dispense by weight. Overdoing it is not real dangerous but try not to. Never given to fowl. Just don't have any birds or i would try it.

I never had one diagnosed with worms. (Dog either)
Only used preventing them.
