God's promise of Salvation extends to all; whoever will go through the door He has opened to us shall be saved.
Humans like to complicate the immense simplicity of God's message regarding salvation: it is through His Grace, and if we accept it, we will receive it. It is not a "free" gift, however: someone, namely Jesus Christ, had to pay a GREAT price for it:
Isaiah 53:4-6
4Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Therefore, we must acknowledge that we are sinners. We cannot try to reason that we are good enough on our own, or that we are not sinners: or else we make a liar of God who has declared that all men have sinned and that no man is made righteous by way of following the Law.
Our sins deserve terrible punishment–but Jesus Christ stood before God on our behalf so that those punishments would not fall on our heads.
7He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Christ suffered the fullness of God's wrath against the sins of Mankind, and through the shedding of his innocent blood, gave God a way to forgive our damning sins.
All that is left for us is to believe in his sacrifice on our behalf, and to put out faith in Jesus Christ.
John 3:16-18
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Having accepted his sacrifice on our behalf, we must submit to him as our Lord. And we may know His will for us by reading the Word of God in the Holy Bible. No mere words are written within; as you read it and become strong in the Word, it will speak to you in your mind and heart through the power of the Holy Spirit of God, and awaken your understanding and bolster your spirit.
