Follow-up.

The ~4800 voters with no voting location.

The public records request was for the voting history of people who voted in the 2020 General Election. Who knows why, but the SOS sent the data and included the names of all voters, even if they didn't vote. The total number of records received (total voters) is a few hundred higher than the last known total voter count one month before early voting started.

Still auditing to determine if that many people actually were new voters to this little county during those 30 days. That would be pretty unusual.

I do recall there were a handful of people who "same day registered" to vote in that election, as challengers reported "glitches" at voting convenience centers (voters had to travel to clerk's office to same day register), and challengers put in as at least three voters stated they lived in other states!
