From previous bread. Weird coincidence that just read a passage referring to this before I hopped on here.
Just happen to read this right before I got on. One small correction. Numbers 13:28 talk about the descendants of Anak and Numbers 13:33 talk about the Nephilim (sons of Anak). This is actually the first reference outside of Genesis I believe. It ties into the story of Joshua that you reference because the Israelites were too chicken shit to fight the battle the first time which is why they were banished back into the desert for 40 years.
