regularly tell family and friends that i haven't watched the "news" since 2018 and they always seem stunned and ask how do you get your "news?"
i tell them i search on-line and i get to decide what seems legitimate and what seems like propaganda
i also add that i do not miss watching television "news" one bit, and, in fact, am much more clear headed without watching it
again, most seem stunned by this
i then go onto explaining how the "news" is strictly propaganda and not to be relied upon for facts
in some cases, when we meet or talk again, they will bring it up and say thinks like "fake news" and they can not believe what lies they reported on such and such a tv "news" show
i know i may sound simple minded, and maybe i am, but this subtle red pill technique does reap some rewards
