My wife and I have never gotten the vax, but my 79 year-old mother has gotten them. Shot and boosters. She is so far good. She has a pacemaker too. We still plan on never getting it. Tough decisions if you are older and susceptible to illnesses. You'd have to put some trust in doctors. What kind of health decisions will I have to make in 20 years that are similar to a vaccine? When she got here my mother caught a cough. We took her to get a covid screening. She tested negative. My wife and I have not caught the cough. My mother still has the cough after a week, but is getting better. I chalk it up to her visiting from the mid-west and coming here to the desert. He lungs are clear. She has gotten the flu vaccine and probably shingles. What will I have to decide when I get in my later years? It makes me want to move away from everyone to a isolated place, but need funds for that. I still need access to modern medicine.

My older brother wanted a test done. My wife is a nurse and she never told me to take her to get a test. She has seen many with covid and she wasn't too concerned. I don't even think my mom wanted to go, but out of respect for my brother we took her.
