read that thread. all of it. the fragments of the HUNDREDS of posters with similar (worldwide) experiences will likely trigger recall of a LOT of memories (and possibly 'skills').
the next stage of the 'program' involved selection, separation within school, and twice weekly offsite periods during school but out of school grounds. These were without school affiliated teachers, parents, or any other adults outside of the 'testers', trainers, and observers. Locations (on LI NY) did not have windows, that I recall, most but not all were at MFS/Hero
