It's only an issue if the mother's blood gets an exposure to the baby's. I think problems are often due to "medical professionals" doing things that shouldn't happen. When you develop an autoimmune disease does that mean your immune system suddenly decided that the rest of your body is an enemy? Or did some tissue or pathogen end up where it didn't belong and your body mounted a response?

Nothing really theoretical about inducing auto-immunity. "Medical doctors" are kept in the dark because causing and then "treating" auto-immunity is HUGE.
