‘SPERMAGEDDON’: Humanity May be Functionality Infertile by 2050, New Study Warns.

Massively declining sperm counts are a global problem, according to new research that has evident implications for the survival of the natural human race. Current trends in sperm counts, if extrapolated, suggest that, as early as 2050, the species may have trouble reproducing. The median man will have a sperm count of zero, meaning that one half of all men will produce no sperm at all, and the other half will produce so few as to be functionally infertile. Researchers have further corroborated prior information gained on sperm counts in North America, Europe, and Australia, revealing the decline in sperm counts is mirrored in South and Central America, Asia, and Africa too.

Declining fertility and the resulting “crisis of masculinity” have become a political issue in the U.S. recently, aided by Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s documentary, The End of Men. The film drew furious responses from the liberal media, who accused Carlson of “ramping fears” and “push[ing] pseudoscience onto impressionable men.” Worrying Trends Get Worse. Now, Carlson’s claims look more prescient than pseudoscientific, with a team of researchers from Israel, the US, Denmark, Brazil and Spain analyzing sperm count data from 53 countries, in regions that had not previously been considered in such studies. While sperm count data for North America, Europe, and Oceania had already been subjected to rigorous analysis and discussion, the same was not true for data from Latin America, Asia and Africa. The researchers have been able to show, for the first time, that men in Latin America, Asia, and Africa are also suffering from exactly the same “significant decline” in total sperm counts (TSC) and sperm concentration (SC) as their counterparts in the West. What’s more, the researchers have also shown that the decline in TSC and SC has been accelerating globally since 2000.

12 Senate Republicans join Democrats in passing pro-gay marriage bill

A dozen Senate Republicans joined with Democrats to pass a piece of pro-gay marriage legislation in a 61-36 vote on Tuesday. The 12 GOP senators who voted for the measure included: Roy Blunt of Missouri, Richard Burr and Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Susan Collins of Maine, Joni Ernst of Iowa; Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Rob Portman of Ohio, Mitt Romney of Utah, and Todd Young of Indiana.

Another version of the bill cleared the House chamber earlier this year with support from dozens of GOP lawmakers, so the Senate-approved measure will likely sail though the House of Representatives and head to President Biden's desk. The so-called "Respect for Marriage Act" would bar states from refusing to recognize marriages from other states on the basis of factors like sex and race. The measure also stipulates that if marital status is a concern for any federal law, individuals should be viewed as married if their marriage was valid in the state it occurred.

The GOP’s Urban Gains - Republicans improved their electoral performance in cities

When all the votes are counted, Republicans will have retaken the House of Representatives by at most an 11-seat margin. That narrow advantage is surprising, not only because of pre-midterm expectations but also because of Republicans’ strong performance in the House “popular vote.” Though returns from California are still coming in, the GOP seems likely to win roughly 51 percent of all House votes to Democrats’ 47 percent. What explains this disparity? Veteran political analyst Michael Barone points to various demographic and geographic changes: lowered Democratic turnout, the effects of redistricting, and a change in how much each party’s voters “cluster” within a district. To this, we might add that Republicans ran closer margins in blue-state races that they lost, contributing to their total count of votes without necessarily netting them more seats.

In fact, an examination of the data shows that relative to 2018 and 2020, Republicans outperformed themselves in the place they are weakest: cities. While they won few urban congressional districts, my analysis suggests that they did better than they have in recent history. If this is true, it suggests that the GOP is making inroads with Democratic voters increasingly disenchanted with the party’s governance. At the same time, it exposes Republicans to the same problems to which an urban base has long exposed Democrats. To determine how urban a given congressional district (CD) is, I turned to prior work by journalists at CityLab and FiveThirtyEight, who produced measures of urbanization for the 2018, 2020, and 2022 elections. These measures use census data to estimate the density of people across a district, giving estimates of what share lives in a high- or low-density area, for example. They also cluster districts by density, labeling some “urban,” some “suburban,” and so on. These measures give us a rough estimate of the trend.*

To measure Republicans’ urban performance, I examined their net share of the two-way vote (i.e., the Republican share minus the Democratic share of votes for either of the two parties) and subtracted their average performance across all congressional districts in that year. This adjustment lets us see how much better a Republican did in a given district in a given year, relative to how Republicans performed against Democrats overall.

Elon Musk, are you going through the malicious spam users that apparently a bunch of conservatives got dumped into by bad actors on their way out the door to pull the non malicious accounts out for restore? I'm pretty sure there's a large number of anons file 13'd in there that don't deserve to be permanently banned.

Ron DeSantis signals 2024 bid with new book

Following a well-worn path into presidential politics, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signaled his bid Wednesday by announcing the publication of his autobiography and political blueprint. HarperCollins Publishers said its imprint, Broadside, will publish The Courage to Be Free: Florida's Blueprint for America's Revival in late February.

“In The Courage to Be Free, Governor Ron DeSantis chronicles the most consequential decisions of his life and public service, including turning the Sunshine State into the promised land for millions of Americans. He has become one of America’s most closely watched officeholders, having delivered a historic, record-setting 2022 gubernatorial victory, winning by nearly 20 points and more than 1.5 million votes,” said the publishing giant. Typically, potential presidential candidates issue autobiographies a year or two before elections as a stage setter for campaigns, and the DeSantis book sounds like a fit. Most include a personal review of their life and accomplishments and how it would guide them should they win higher office.

Consider how the publisher described it in a statement just released: “The Courage to Be Free will cover key moments in his life, including growing up in a working-class family, playing in the Little League World Series, working his way through Yale University and Harvard Law School, volunteering for the Navy after 9/11, and serving in Iraq. He will also share details about his marriage to Casey, their three children, and Casey’s battle with cancer. This book will center on critical issues that brought him to the center of the debate over the future of our country. He shares his thinking from when he was fighting back against COVID mandates and restrictions, critical race theory, woke corporations, and the partisan legacy media. He chronicles his bold, substantial policy achievements: enacting trend-setting education reforms, reducing taxes while generating a record-setting budget surplus, taking strong stances on immigration and law and order, ushering in a new era of conservation for Florida’s treasured natural resources, and appointing conservatives judges to top Florida courts." “Governor Ron DeSantis writes, ‘What Florida has done is establish a blueprint for governance that has produced tangible results while serving as a rebuke to the entrenched elites who have driven our nation into the ground. Florida is proof positive that we, the people are not powerless in the face of these elites.’” Broadside has created a page to preorder the book, DeSantisbook.com, and even offered up a preview.

"Everyone can see Governor Ron DeSantis is a gifted leader, and now people will discover he’s also a gifted writer. His book explains how he applies his sense of True North to life and leadership," said Broadside Vice President and Editorial Director Eric Nelson. DeSantis was reelected earlier this month by a wide margin and was credited with turning the state ruby red politically. Polls have shown that DeSantis is the GOP’s second choice behind former President Donald Trump and that he would easily win the Republican nomination if Trump dropped out.

All Nick Fuentes does as far as I can tell is goes from town to town and talks/discusses. He doesn't burn down cities (like antifa). He doesn't call for the burning down of cities (like antifa). All he does is promotes discourse about America Politics. Does this anon agree with or listen to him? No. I think his ideas and thinking are immature and naïve. Does that mean he doesn't deserve to have a voice? Absolutely not. Banning free speech is the problem, not him. If you don't like it don't listen, better yet, respond with your own political speech.

Milo Yiannopoulos and Nick Fuentes admit dinner with Kanye West was orchestrated to 'make Trump's life 'miserable'

Two days before Thanksgiving, former President Donald Trump sat down to a dinner with rapper Kanye West (also known as "Ye") at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, but he allegedly didn't expect West to bring along white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes. According to NBC News, Trump likely walked into a trap that was intentionally set up for him.

Elon Musk’s Neuralink “Show and Tell” livestream link goes online

Neuralink, Elon Musk’s brain-machine startup, is poised to hold its highly anticipated “Show and Tell” event later today. The event will start at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

The livestream to the event has gone live on the startup’s official YouTube channel. Similar to Tesla’s events, such as AI Day and Battery Day, Neuralink’s “Show and Tell” seems to be a recruitment event at its core. In the description of the recently-posted livestream, the brain-machine startup invited those who are interested in its work to apply to the company. A link to Neuralink’s Careers website was also provided. A look at the Careers page itself shows that Neuralink is hiring for two of its departments — the Implant and Robotics teams. Both Elon Musk and Neuralink itself have been tight-lipped about any details pertaining to the “Show and Tell” event. Despite this, the excitement surrounding it is substantial. Part of this is due to a cryptic and short teaser posted by the startup recently, which featured the words “please join us for show and tell” being typed onscreen. The simplicity of the teaser, its apparent reference to The Matrix franchise, as well as the pace of the words as they were typed onscreen, have triggered speculations that the announcement was typed using a working Neuralink implant. Elon Musk, after all, stated earlier this year that Neuralink is looking to hold its first human trials in 2022. The seemingly authentic nature of the Neuralink teaser echoes a video posted by Tesla in the lead-up to its AI Day 2022 event. Tesla’s video, which was only a few seconds long, showed a couple of robotic hands forming a heart. Elon Musk later revealed that the hands featured in the teaser were from the actual Optimus humanoid robot prototype, which was shown off during the event.
