Jen Cookke, a lecturer at the MIT Center for Real Estate, told Inman that the investment suggests Vanguard is
“taking a bet on the market share opportunity and growth potential of Redfin.”
She explained that the way Americans purchase homes is changing quickly, and that technology based companies like Redfin will be the “future for this industry.”
