To much Slag/dross. This is a failed pour. Need to shove a Potato into is and degas. Then clean the surface.
Shit like this is why stuff cracks apart.
It's what I currently do. Aluminum casting.
We have two Crucibles like this.
You can literally feel a good pour and that pic makes me sick to my stomach.
