Hollywood Celebrity Fitness Trainer Eric Fleishman Dies Suddenly at 53
One of Hollywood’s top celebrity fitness trainers, Eric Fleishman, has tragically died suddenly at just 53 years old, according to reports.
Fleishman, known among his A-list star clients as “Eric The Trainer,” died “unexpectedly” at his home in Glendale, California on Thanksgiving.
Fleishman’s family announced his death in a statement posted on Instagram.
“We are heartbroken to share that Eric Phillip Fleishman passed away unexpectedly on the morning of November 24, 2022,” the post reads.
“His wife Alysia, son, parents, and close friends/family are deeply saddened by this event.”
No other details, including the cause of death, have been revealed.
Fleishman was in high demand among Hollywood’s rich and famous celebrities, according to TMZ.
He served as a personal trainer to many big stars in TV, movies, and the music industry, working with everyone from Def Leppard, Journey, Fall Out Boy, and Nickelback to Kirstie Alley, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Ethan Suplee, and Jason Priestley, amongst many others.
Many of his famous clients also counted Fleishman as a friend.
But, Fleishman didn’t only work with the famous and wealthy … he also trained Los Angeles law enforcement.
Over his 3 decade career in fitness, Fleishman also worked with LAPD, L.A. Sheriff’s Academy, California Highway Patrol, and numerous SWAT teams across the county.
Fleishman originally got into the entertainment business after being inspired by fitness and health pioneer, Jack Lalanne.
The news comes after the tragic sudden passing of Country music singer-songwriter Jake Flint.
As Slay News reported, Flint died suddenly at just 37 years old.
The celebrated up-and-coming music star was found dead on Saturday just hours after his wedding, his longtime publicist, Clif Doyal, confirmed to The Oklahoman.
Doyal revealed that Flint died unexpectedly in his sleep shortly after getting married.
Flint’s cause of death has yet to be determined.
