Former NFL quarterback Jon Kitna testified at his son’s court hearing on Thursday.
Jalen Kitna, a backup quarterback for the University of Florida, was arrested in Gainesville on Wednesday and charged with five felony counts — three of them for possession of child pornography and two for distribution of child exploitation material.
The elder Kitna, and his wife, Jennifer, testified that if Jalen was granted bail they would take him back to their home in Texas. They also promised the court that they would ensure that he attends every relevant court date.
Gainesville police said in a press release Wednesday that they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that a Discord user shared an “image of child sexual abuse material.” An investigation determined that a second image was shared and that the account belonged to Jalen Kitna.
The Florida quarterback allegedly told police that he recalled sharing the images “but believed them to be ‘legal’ since he found them online,” the release said.
A subsequent search of his devices found three more photos of child sexual abuse material.

Landolfo, 51, launched Rains PDX in September 2019, partnering with the Danish outerwear retailer, in hopes of making a buck on Portland’s notoriously soggy climate. This month, after 15 burglaries, thefts and acts of vandalism in the span of 27 months, she shut down the store.
“Yeah, that was number 15,” Landolfo said of a Nov. 22 burglary in which she lost some $2,500 in high-end outerwear. “That was the final straw.”

Brad William Henke, ‘Orange Is the New Black’ star and ex-NFL player, dead at 56

Brad William Henke, a former pro football player who later moved on to a prolific acting career, has died. He was 56.
His manager, Matt DelPiano, confirmed to The Post that Henke died in his sleep on Nov. 29, but did not give a cause of death.
“Brad was an incredibly kind man of joyous energy. A very talented actor, he loved being a part of this community … and we loved him back. Our thoughts are with his wife and family,” DelPiano said in a statement.
Henke’s most famous role came when he portrayed gay corrections officer Desi Piscatella in the Netflix hit “Orange Is the New Black.” That role gained made him status as a sex symbol in the bear community — a sub-section of the gay community that loves a larger and hairier man.

Secret Service has Hunter Biden gun probe docs it denied having: watchdog

The Secret Service has located hundreds of pages of records tied to the investigation of a gun belonging to Hunter Biden – despite having denied they existed, a government watchdog group said Thursday.
Judicial Watch is investigating whether the Secret Service intervened on behalf of President Biden’s son after the incident, and it has sued the agency for all materials related to the reported purchase, possession, and disposal of the firearm owned by Hunter Biden.
The group has accused the Secret Service of repeatedly changing its position on whether it has any documents related to the investigation.
“The Secret Service’s changing story on records raises additional questions about its role in the Hunter Biden gun incident,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.
“One thing is clear, Judicial Watch’s persistence means the public may get records that the Secret Service suggested didn’t exist.”
On Nov. 10, the Secret Service revealed in a court filing that it has located over 100 records, totaling over 400 pages, potentially related to Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act request.
The agency says it will complete its initial processing of the records by Jan. 9, 2023, and all non-exempt materials will be handed over to the watchdog by that date.
In April 2021, the Secret Service initially responded to the document request by saying that it had located the relevant records and would process them in accordance with the law, but more than a year later, in October 2022, the Secret Service said that its previous response was sent in error and that it did not have any records related to Hunter Biden’s gun.
In October 2018, Hunter Biden’s sister-in-law-turned-lover, Hallie Biden, allegedly tossed Hunter’s .38-caliber revolver in a dumpster outside a grocery store in Wilmington, Del.
Halie, who had been married to Hunter’s late brother Beau Biden, reportedly claimed in text messages that she was afraid her boyfriend would “use” the gun.
The incident enraged the president’s drug-abusing son, who texted Hallie at one point, “I won’t ever recover from this.”
Nobody was arrested or charged as a result of the incident, according to reports.

A 10-year-old Milwaukee boy fatally shot his mother in the face because she would not buy him a virtual reality headset — then logged onto her Amazon account and ordered it the next day, prosecutors said.
The boy has been charged as an adult with first-degree reckless homicideand is being held in a juvenile detention facility, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which didn’t identify him because of his age.
He initially told police he got the gun from his mom’s bedroom about 7 a.m. Nov. 21 and went to the basement where she was doing laundry.
The boy claimed he was twirling the weapon around his finger when it went off. He told his 26-year-old sister, who called 911, the news outlet reported.
But a day later, his relatives contacted authorities questioning his story and he admitted to police that he intentionally pointed the gun at his mother, according to a complaint cited by the outlet.
The boy’s aunt said that when she picked him up the day after the shooting, he grabbed a set of house keys that contained a key to the gun’s container, the paper reported.
When she asked him about the shooting, he told her he pointed the weapon at his mom, who said: “Why do you have that? Put it down,” according to the complaint.
The day after he allegedly shot his mom in the face, he logged onto her Amazon account and ordered an Oculus Virtual Reality headset — and also assaulted his 7-year-old cousindocuments cited by the Sentinel say.
“I’m really sorry for what happened. I’m sorry for killing my mom,” the boy said without empathy or compassion, according to the aunt.
Relatives told authorities about his history of disturbing behavior, which included an incident where he swung his puppy by its tail when he was 4, the Sentinel reported, citing a complaint.
Six months ago, he caused an explosion when he set a balloon containing a flammable liquid on fire, the family told investigators.
They reported that the boy told them he heard imaginary voices.
When police interviewed the boy again, he told them he aimed the gun at his mom and tried shooting a wall to “scare her,” but struck her when she walked in front of him, according to the complaint.
He told investigators he got the semi-automatic Glock 43 from the lock box because his mom woke him up early at 6 a.m. instead of 6:30 a.m. — and because she wouldn’t let him make a purchase on Amazon.
The boy made his initial appearance Friday in Milwaukee County Court, where the cash bond was set at $50,000.
He is scheduled to appear at the Youth and Family Justice Center in Milwaukee on Dec. 7.
An attorney for the boy, Angela Cunningham, said she was still gathering information about the case.
“This is an absolute family tragedy. I don’t think anybody would deny or disagree with that,” she told the Sentinel.
“The adult system is absolutely ill-equipped to address the needs of a 10-year-old child.”
State law requires children as young as 10 to be charged as adults for certain serious crimes, including first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide and attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson told reporters that “anytime there’s violence that happens in Milwaukee whether it’s committed by someone who’s 10 years old or much older than that, that gives me pause.
“I don’t want to see anybody hurt or lose their lives in the city,” he added, Fox 6 Now reported.

Two of the four teens who conspired to kill a 38-year-old man Monday in Rock Hill were the victim’s sons, according to family members.
The deadly shooting happened just after midnight at Paces River apartments off Interstate 77.
The sister of Larry Ingram Jr. said he was a good man and father.
“He was trying to make a better way for him and his children,” Kimberly Ingram told Channel 9. “He wasn’t fully where he wanted to be, but he was definitely trying to get to that area in his life.”
Kimberly Ingram said her brother recently moved his two teenage sons to Rock Hill, trying to give them better opportunities.
But early Monday, their lives were rocked by tragedy.
Rock Hill police said three 14-year-olds and a 15-year-oldshot and killed Larry Ingram inside an apartment.
The teens came up with the plan after the victim tried to discipline them, police said..

Body of ‘Green Book’ actor Frank Vallelonga Jr. found dumped in Bronx

“Green Book” actor Frank Vallelonga Jr. has been identified as the likely overdose victim whose body was found dumped in the Bronx, police said Thursday.
The 60-year-old actor’s corpse was discovered outside a sheet-metal manufacturing factory in Hunts Point early Monday after being tossed out of a vehicle, cops said.
His cause of his death is still being determined, but preliminary findings point to an overdose, law enforcement sources told The Post.
The actor is the namesake son of the Copacabana bouncer — known as “Tony Lip” — who was portrayed by Viggo Mortensen in the “Green Book” film, which tells the true story of the elder Vallelonga’s 1962 road trip through the segregated South with black pianist Don Shirley.
