and he fought so hard, he was a good guy, he was a very bgood golfer, and he practiced all the time
and then he had the privielege he was the best player on his team in college
and then he had the privileg of a match with wake forest
and Arnold Palmer was obviously #1 so he got the chance to play Arnold Palmer
who he had heard about.
Arnold had won the US amateur
they start off, and around the 9th hole somebody called over to Mark

He was 6 down before the 9th hole
and he realized then that he could never be a great player because Arnold Palmer was so much better
he was stronger longer
he was a better chipper, putter, he was better at everything

Endeavor Holding Group CEO Ari Emanuel is reportedly seeking a settlement in the ongoing lawsuit between Twitter and Elon Musk, as Musk's personal texts reveal his communications ahead of his initial buyout proposal.

SEANA SMITH: Talent agent and Endeavor Group CEO Ari Emanuel pushing for a settlement between Elon Musk and Twitter. Twitter shares jumping today, up just around 3%. Yahoo Finance's Dan Howley joins us now with more. Dan, another day, some more info here on this Elon Musk, Twitter saga. What do you make of this newest development with Ari pushing for the deal?
DAN HOWLEY: Saga, yeah, I think that's probably the nicest way to put it. It is interesting. Look, you know, Ari has this kind of relationship on both sides with Musk, with members of Twitter's board, and obviously, trying to get some kind of reconciliation between the two. I don't necessarily know if that's going to work, though. I don't think from everything that Musk seems to have done, he's throwing everything at the wall to try to get out of this agreement to purchase Twitter for $44 billion.
You know, I mean, he's asking the judge to be able to get more access to Twitter's information, for Twitter to bring forward more information. The judge just denied that in a recent ruling. And so, you know, I don't know how much this will actually help and maybe turn it into an agreement. To me, it seems as though, eventually, Musk is either going to be forced to buy this or somehow back out. I don't see an agreement going where he can become CEO, and everything's hunky dory. I just– I don't think that's going to happen.
DAVE BRIGGS: No matter how powerful Ari Emanuel is or how much time they spend on a boat, it just seems like a non-sequitur here.
DAN HOWLEY: Yeah, [INAUDIBLE] together, yeah.
DAVE BRIGGS: Those are some great photos, which I wish we could discuss. But the text messages between Elon and Jack Dorsey and several others, Parag Agrawal, the CEO of Twitter, have been fantastic. What's been your biggest takeaway, though, from the exchanges that are both juicy and really pretty substantive about the inner workings of this attempted takeover?

Mid-State Man Sentenced To 35 Years In Federal Prison For Child Sexual Exploitation Crimes

NASHVILLE – A Minor Hill, Tennessee, man was sentenced yesterday to 35 years in federal prison for crimes related to the production of child pornography, announced U.S. Attorney Mark H. Wildasin for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Joshua Marc Hendon,36, and his wife, Lori Hendon, were indicted in October 2017, on charges of conspiracy to produce child pornography, nine counts of production of child pornography, and possession of child pornography.
“Protecting innocent children from sexual predators remains one of our highest priorities,” said U.S. Attorney Wildasin. “I commend our law enforcement partners and prosecutors who work diligently to identify these predators and bring them to justice so that they no longer have the opportunity to exploit any child again.”
In November 2019, Joshua Hendon pleaded guilty to all charges and admitted that in the fall of 2015, he was a registered sex offender when he and his wife moved to Minor Hill, Tennessee. There, they befriended a nearby family that included two minor girls under the age of 12, and their father, who was disabled and struggled to care for the girls. Both girls began to visit the Hendon home regularly, where Lori would take care of them.
In October 2015, Joshua began communicating with the girls online, using the text application Kik. On several occasions, Joshua convinced the younger of the two girls to send him explicit photos. During one Kik chat conversation, the girl offered to send explicit photos in an effort to avoid having Joshua physically molest her. Joshua also enlisted the help of his wife to take photos of the girls when they were nude and taking baths in the Hendon home.
A subsequent forensic examination of Joshua’s cell phones and other electronic devices found numerous images of child pornography, including over 30 sexually explicit images of the two girls. Forensic interviews of the girls disclosed that Joshua had touched them inappropriately.
“Because of the investigative efforts of our HSI agents, a child sex offender has been sent to federal prison, where he will be unable to victimize other vulnerable children,” said HSI Nashville Special Agent in Charge Jerry C. Templet, Jr. “We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to remove these offenders from our communities and ensure they pay for their heinous actions.”
The case against Lori Hendon remains pending and she is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
This case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations and the Giles County Sheriff’s Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Carrie Daughtrey is prosecuting the case.
