Yes the Twitter clip was a provocative stitching of a long subordinative sentence…. That part of the script was meant to oppose two ideas with the implication that one of them was the "wrong" idea.

However, and here's the interesting part, Barry, at the end of the long comparative description, sort of forgets to clarify that this "alternative" view is the negative one, the one to defeat.

Ultimately it seems from the speech that the two "opposing views" are, to the very least, equally acceptable.

I think what Q is implying is that this was done on purpose, to send a message to the real masters and their followers.

I can see that. The subordinate is really long and clearly lacks a proper ending.
