ASML makes the machines that make the machines that makes the chips. Have a friend that works there. Just told me last week that they already abide by the sanctions. They send lower grade machines to the Chinese. Problem is that the Chinks have the ability to make improvements along the supply chain so that by the end, their chips are just as good, if not better. Our downstream tech sucks should be the take away. Stop blaming China. Blame anti-competitive practices…looking at you Intel!
