Another Maricopa County election judge has come forward with more evidence of illegality in Arizona’s 2022 Midterm Election.

The Gateway Pundit reported that voting machine failures and tabulation issues led to massive and unprecedented voter disenfranchisement at the polls.

Voting machines and printers suddenly stopped working at over 30% of voting centers the moment the polls opened on election day. Republican voters were forced to wait in extremely long lines, turned away from the polls, or told to deposit their ballots in the questionable “box 3” for misread ballots.

These issues were present ALL DAY at some locations.

Because of this, despite having had only 17% of the turnout on election day, Democrats outperformed Republicans in multiple counties, which is unlikely, if not impossible.

The tabulation issues were not present at the Chandler voting center, according to the election judge. Still, “the massive lines were real. We had close to 200 people in line at one point, and it was a two-hour wait. And we had people walking off of the line because they just couldn’t wait anymore.” This is because “the troubleshooter was calling other sites and telling them to send people to us because their machines were down.”

Some voters were unsure if their vote would count at the second location if they had already checked in at another location. In a now-deleted tweet, Maricopa County officials told voters that they could it’s ok to leave their voting center and go to another voting center. However, they never mention that you must check out first. This directly contradicts a recent letter from the County to the Arizona Attorney General’s office stating that voters must check out before leaving the polls if they intend to vote at another location.

Our source told us, “there was no checkout procedure that we were trained on it,” and because of this, many were forced to vote on a provisional ballot that may not have been counted.

In addition to the issues described above, the new testimony reveals that two Democratic voters were registered to vote just days before Election Day, using out-of-state driver’s licenses in at least one polling location in Chandler, Arizona. One voter was allowed to register after she “indicated she had only been in the valley for a few weeks.”

The legal deadline to register was October 11. This also goes against poll worker instructions to give these voters provisional ballots to be further investigated before counting.

North Carolina Republican Thom Tillis and Arizona Democrat Kyrsten Sinema have reportedly reached a framework deal on immigration reform they would like to push through in the lame duck session before Republicans take the House in January.

The deal would include a pathway to citizenship for two million Dreamers, or DACA recipients who were brought to the U.S. as children, resources to speed up asylum processing and removal of those who do not qualify, more funding for border officers, and a one-year extension of Title 42 until new processing centers are up and running, according to the Washington Post.

Greens accepted $29,000 in donations from NT cattle giant despite vowing not to take money from 'big corporations'

The Greens accepted the donations from the South African-backed pastoral company in the last financial year despite the claim on the party's website under the title 'politics for the people, not corporations or billionaires'.

The Greens have accepted a significant donation from a pastoral company backed by one of South Africa’s richest men, despite saying they “don’t take donations from big corporations” and that “billionaires have too much power over politicians”.

Rallen Australia Pty Ltd and its property arm Amanzi Property Group Pty Ltd donated a total of $29,000 to the Greens last financial year.

Rallen Australia has been fighting efforts to develop the onshore gas industry in the Northern Territory since it purchased five NT cattle stations worth more than $140 million between 2018 and 2020.

The donations were made just months before Greens Senator Sarah Hanson-Young used her position as chair of a Senate committee to accuse gas company Tamboran Resources of trying to threaten and intimidate Rallen.

Senator Hanson-Young told Sky News Australia she was unaware of the donations when she questioned Tamboran Resources managing director Joel Riddle about this issue at the committee’s hearing on October 10.

“I was not aware, nor were my staff aware, of these donations until today,” she said.

“Thank you for bringing them to our attention. I have written to the Committee to inform its members and will ensure the matter is noted in the inquiry’s report.”

Rallen Australia is a subsidiary of Rallen Pty Ltd, a company based in Vereeniging south of Johannesburg.

In a statement released at 5pm on Monday, the Royal Children’s Hospital warned that some patients may be forced to wait up to 12 hours for care as they prioritised children with more severe symptoms.

A lack of staff contributed to the raising of the alarm after the emergency department in Parkville was inundated with a “high number” of unwell children.

“The RCH Emergency Department is currently experiencing unprecedented demand with a high number of presentations of extremely unwell children,” the statement read.

“We are asking families to seek alternative care this evening, where possible.”

The hospital's chief of medicine, Tom Connell, said the hospital was doing everything it could to ensure sicker children were attended to as quickly as possible.

“We’ll be prioritising the more unwell patients and therefore patients might wait if they’re less unwell for a long period of time,” he said on Monday afternoon.

“Doesn't mean there is no priority in those patients but we always have to treat the sicker patients first.”

The Royal Children’s is Australia’s leading pediatric hospital and has been dealing with a surge of patients in recent months.

In an attempt to address the soar in families seeking help, staff have volunteered to work extra shifts and a call was put out to clinical staff who were not rostered to assist.

White House Dismisses Twitter Censoring Stories on Behalf of Joe Biden as ‘Old News’

The White House dismissed Monday new information released by Twitter regarding corporate decisions during the 2020 election to censor stories and posts about President Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

“That is full of old news, if you think about it,” White House press secretary Karine Jean Pierre said during the daily briefing, when asked for the White House’s reaction to the new information unveiled by Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk.

Musk released internal discussions about Twitter executives to journalist Matt Taibbi, who shared the information on the social media platform.

Documents revealed internal communications about censoring the New York Post‘s news story right before the 2020 election about the information retrieved from Biden’s son Hunter’s abandoned laptop. The information also revealed that Twitter censored other posts on social media on behalf of the Democrat National Committee and the Biden campaign.

But Jean-Pierre did not react to a question on Biden’s views about social media companies censoring information for his and his family’s behalf.

Instead, she argued that Musk and Twitter were trying to use the information as a “distraction.”

“An interesting or a coincidence, if I may, that he would so haphazardly — Twitter would so haphazardly push this distraction,” she said, pointing to the “rising volume of anger, hate, and antisemitism on their platform.”

Jean-Pierre accused Musk and Twitter of “letting it happen.”

“Look, what is happening, it’s not — it’s — frankly, it’s not healthy,” she said. “It won’t do anything to help a single American improve their lives.”

The White House announced they would hold a roundtable on Wednesday about combating antisemitism, hosted by second gentleman Doug Emhoff.

The roundtable takes place a week after rapper Kanye West made a series of antisemitic comments during an interview with broadcaster Alex Jones, and even complimented Adolf Hitler.

Jean-Pierre did not specifically name West as a person of concern, but condemned recent antisemitic comments.

“It’s rhetoric. It’s hate. And all of the vile language that we have been hearing, which is incredibly dangerous, this past couple of weeks,” she said.

The JCPA Contains a Massive Loophole for China

The Journalism Competition and Preservation Act (JCPA) contains a loophole that would allow foreign news organizations, including Chinese organizations, to influence the flow of information in the United States — even as lawmakers prepare to attach the derided media bailout bill to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), a bill to fund national defense.

The JCPA has already attracted condemnation for its core elements, namely the transfer of wealth to already-wealthy media companies and the potential for the media industry to demand more censorship from Silicon Valley platforms.

But the China concerns, which are reportedly attracting attention on the Hill, add another twist to the story of a bill that has repeatedly been revived from the dead by media lobbyists over the past two years.

The JCPA creates a “must carry and must pay” scheme, forcing U.S. tech companies both to carry and pay for the content of news organizations through mandatory arbitration agreements.

The news organizations are not limited to U.S. ones, meaning the JCPA would require U.S. companies to carry and subsidize a range of publications that spread propaganda from foreign sources. This would open up the U.S. to increased foreign influence over American political and social movements, and increased exposure to CCP-supported narratives.

The potential to empower foreign adversaries is particularly extraordinary given that lawmakers are planning to attach it to the NDAA, a “must pass” bill that is meant to fund U.S. national defense.

There is a narrow exception in the JCPA carving out publications that are clearly “owned or controlled” by foreign powers. This very weak exception has not been revised since the JCPA was introduced and would instantly be abused by Russian, Chinese, and other foreign interests. “Owned or controlled” does not mean Chinese or Russian entities cannot partner or pay publications in other countries to carry their propaganda.

This is increasingly happening with entities like China Daily that ‘partner’ with U.S. publications to “insert articles that portray the Chinese government and life in China in a positive light,” including mainstream publications like Time and the L.A. Times. Freedom House recently highlighted Beijing’s increasing global media influence, which would be strengthened by a bill like JCPA.

Adverse foreign interests will be able to leverage JCPA to convey propaganda to U.S. audiences, including by disguising their ownership of U.S.-facing publications, partnering with U.S. publications, and broadcasting foreign content on U.S. platforms.

Many of the publishers that would benefit from JCPA are currently carrying advertisements and affiliated content from entities that are owned, controlled, or influenced by the CCP and its affiliates. JCPA would effectively require U.S. platforms to carry CCP-promoted speech.

JCPA also damages U.S. competitiveness and strategic interests by primarily targeting U.S. companies and excluding foreign rivals from scope. This is why both the Trump and Biden administrations have challenged JCPA-style laws and proposals in Australia and Canada.

US secretly modified HIMARS sent to Ukraine – WSJ

The artillery systems were allegedly altered so they couldn’t fire long-range missiles into Russia

The HIMARS rocket launchers Ukraine received from Washington have been “secretly modified” so they can’t use longer-range missiles, even if Kiev obtained them from elsewhere, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday citing anonymous US officials.

A total of 20 of the M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers have been sent to Ukraine since June, along with several batches of GMLRS guided missiles and service vehicles. The GMLRS have a range of almost 80 kilometers (50 miles).

Multiple activists have since called for Ukraine to also receive ATACMS rockets, with a range of over 300 kilometers. The US has refused, so far. Even if the White House changes its mind, or Kiev manages to obtain the ATACMS – or similar long-range missiles – elsewhere, they won’t work in the HIMARS currently in the field, according to WSJ.

The modifications made to the systems before they were sent to Ukraine involve “hardware and software,” the unnamed officials who spoke with the outlet noted. The Ukrainian military declined to comment. So did the Pentagon, citing “operational security considerations.”

According to WSJ, the modifications “reflect apprehensions among administration officials that their Ukrainian partner might stop keeping its promise not to strike Russian territory with US-provided weapons,” as well as the desire by President Joe Biden’s administration to “reduce the risk of a wider war” with Russia.

Moscow has repeatedly warned Washington that providing heavy weapons to Ukraine risks crossing Russia’s “red lines” and involving the US and NATO in the conflict directly. The US and its allies insist they are not a party to the hostilities, while continuing to arm Kiev.

Back in June, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters that Washington had received “assurances” from Kiev that HIMARS wouldn’t be used “against targets on Russian territory” and claimed that there was “a strong trust bond between Ukraine and the US, as well as with our allies and partners.”

By September, however, Blinken has clarified that the US doesn’t regard Crimea or the four other parts of Russia – the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions – that voted to join the country as anything but Ukrainian territory, and as such, legitimate targets for Pentagon-supplied weapons.

Monday’s revelation about the alterations to HIMARS launchers also contradicts the statement by Washington’s envoy in Kiev, Bridget Brink, who said in June that the decision on the range of the systems would be “up to the Ukrainian side.”
