‘Are you kidding me?’ Legal experts stunned as more Trump classified docs discovered – at a Florida storage facility

Attorneys for Donald Trump have located more classified documents, in addition to the 300 that federal agents retrieved while executing a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago. These newly discovered classified documents were sent from a federal office building in Washington, D.C. to a private external storage facility in West Palm Beach, Florida, which is near the ex-president's resort and residence.

The stunning revelation of more classified documents being found, even after a Trump attorney attested in June they had been told by the ex-president there were no more classified documents, comes afterTrump's attorneys hired a third partyto search four of his properties for classified documents.

The Washington Post, (CIA?) which first reported on the additional classified documents, adds, "emails show that GSA [the federal General Services Administration] and Trump staffers worked together to arrange to ship several pallets of boxes and other items weighing more than 3,000 pounds from Northern Virginia to the Florida storage unit in September 2021."

The GSA worked with the Trump teamto help "secure the storage unit at a private facility in West Palm Beach on July 21, 2021," which is 18 months after Trump left office.

"People familiar with the matter said the storage unit had a mix of boxes, gifts, suits and clothes, among other things. 'It was suits and swords and wrestling belts and all sorts of things,' this person said. 'To my knowledge, he has never even been to that storage unit. I don’t think anyone in Trump world could tell you what’s in that storage unit.'"

As The Post notes, the existence of additional classified material, outside the ex-president's Florida home, "indicates Mar-a-Lago was not the only place where Trump kept classified material. It also provides further evidence that Trump and his team did not fully comply with a May grand jury subpoena that sought all documents marked classified still in possession of the post-presidential office."

Legal experts are stunned.

"Are you kidding me?" asked former U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade, now a law professor and MSNBC legal analyst. "How many more classified docs does he have?"

Another former U.S. Attorney turned law professor and MSNBC contributor, Joyce Vance, appeared to question how the classified documents got there.

"Trump lawyers found classified items at a storage unit GSA arranged for Trump in Florida, turning them over to the FBI.Trump sources say items were packed in northern VA, sent down & Trump had no idea what was there, but they had to get in there somehow?"

"Astounding," comments former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti. He adds, "It appears that Trump’s own team doesn’t have a good handle on all the government documents in his possession, despite a criminal investigation."

Sounds like the GSA and Archives with other agencies planned this way in advance of him leaving. And of course they leak it to the WAPO. But still not a freakin word about the prior Presidents with storage places that can be penetrated with a stick.

Outside team finds two classified documents at storage unit Trump rented in Florida

An outside team hired by Donald Trump's lawyers found at leasttwo more classified itemsat a storage unit in Florida.

Sources familiar with the matter told the Washington Post the items were immediately turned over to the FBI after a two-person outside team overseen by his attorneys searched four properties owned by the former president.

Emails released by the General Services Administration, which help former presidents transition back to private citizens, show the agency helped rent a storage unit at a private facility in July 2021 to house items that Trump staffers had been using in northern Virginia after he left the White House. (so did they plant documents there that they wanted others to find, since it was mostly personal belongings?)

The GSA and Trump staffers together arranged to ship pallets of boxes and other items that weighed more than 3,000 pounds from Virginia to the storage unit in September 2021, and a person familiar with the storage unit said there was no cataloguing of the items sent there.

“It was suits and swords and wrestling belts and all sorts of things,” that person said. “To my knowledge,he has never even been to that storage unit. I don’t think anyone in Trump world could tell you what’s in that storage unit.”

It's not clear what classified materials were found there, but the discovery shows Trump kept government documents at locations besides Mar-a-Lago, where FBI agents seized hundreds of top-secret materials in August.

Trump's legal team asked the Department of Justice, which suspected he might still have additional government documents in his possession, to observe the search of Bedminster but they declined, and they did not make the same offer for searches at Trump Tower, the storage unit or another property.

Senator Tom Cotton to Woke Kroger CEO: “I’m Sorry That’s Happening to You. Best of Luck”

Grocery chains Kroger and Harris Teeter (owned by Kroger) have embraced the woke agenda with open arms.

They removed My Pillow products from their stores after pressure from the left.

Last summer, two weeks before the Fourth of July, they capitulated to a complaint by a Democrat politician in North Carolina about koozies decorated with pro-America themes featuring firearms and pulled the items from shelves.

In October, Kroger announced efforts to merge with Albertsons Companies, Inc. in a nearly $25 billion deal.

During the hearings, Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) blasted Kroger’s woke CEO.

This situation reminds me a little bit of the situation big tech companies have found themselves in in recent years. They’ve come to Washington because they fear regulation from their Democratic friends or action from the Biden Administration. And then they expect Republicans, who are traditionally more supportive of free enterprise to come to their defense.

And I have cautioned them for years if they silence conservatives and center right voters across the country,if they discriminate against them in their company, they probably shouldn’t come and ask Republican Senatorsto carry the water for them whenever their Democratic friends want to regulate them or block their mergers.

On Wednesday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk revealed that important data in the Twitter Files releases was "hidden" and "deleted," but vowed that "everything we find will be released."

"Most important data was hidden (from you too) and some may have been deleted, but everything we find will be released," the Wednesday afternoon tweet read.

The tweet came in response to a post from former Twitter CEO and company cofounder Jack Dorsey demanding that all information related to the Twitter Files be released "without filter."

"If the goal is transparency to build trust, why not just release everything without filter and let people judge for themselves? Including all discussions around current and future actions? Make everything public now. #TwitterFiles," the tweet read.

(I can see now that few if any people told Jack what was going on, was he neutered by the board and they told staff not to consult with him? Even if they deleted data wouldn't engineers know how to find a backup or as they say on computer, there are always things left behind after deleted? This is getting fun)

On Tuesday evening, Musk also tweeted out the phrase, "Oh, what a tangled web they weave, when first they practice to …," referencing the 1801 poem by Sir Walter Scott Marion: A Tale of Flooded Field, with the complete line ending in "deceive," according to the Daily Mail.

In Tuesday’s release of the Twitter Files, it was revealed that now-former twitter Deputy General Counsel James Baker had "vetted" the Twitter Files, causing delay and occurring without "knowledge of new management," said journalist Matt Taibbi.

"We can now tell you part of the reason why" there was a delay, Taibbi posted. "On Tuesday, Twitter Deputy General Counsel (and former FBI General Counsel) Jim Baker was fired. Among the reasons? Vetting the first batch of “Twitter Files” – without knowledge of new management."
