The Frances Hollis Brain Foundation is a charitable family foundation whose mission is to support non-profit organizations and projects that alleviate human suffering and improve the human condition. The Foundation primarily supports non-profit organizations that benefit individuals living in Kentucky, Georgia, and Maine and that increase access to health care, support human services, provide access to educational opportunities, or promote self-sufficiency and the ability to provide for self, family, and community. Priority will be given to organizations and projects that support the underserved, the disadvantaged, or those who do not have the resources to provide opportunities for themselves, and that demonstrate a broad base of community support. The Foundation will support new programs, ongoing programs, and capital improvements, and will provide general operating support in certain circumstances.
