This was brought up already and not a single anon commented on it.

He is "siding" with Peterson by fence sitting and/or looking for compromise. The ultimate goal is to strip down the power of anonymity on the web by invalidating it. Once that's done, internet 1.0 will be lost forever. They know exactly what it is they are doing.

"Fuck your discussions focused on subject matters. We need to control what you think/feel by filtering what's correct through big names."

Anonymity robs the influencers of their influence by supplanting their influence with factual debate. If there's no target to tear down, they have to work in the realm of ideas which they know they are weak in. That's why Peterson's on an assault (ad hominem) against anonymity.

This is part of his "thought exercises act", but it's an interesting introspection of how a rational/realistic person would think about how to craft a livable (subjective) experience within their own circumstances and the struggle with how one might have control over it (knowing that your crafting it for yourself), ultimately. It's a grim thing to discuss, and the implications are "How can I enjoy this false, subjective experience situation I've created for myself knowing that it's subjective?"

Is that empowering, or is that a curse? I'll tell you what it is. It's the psychological "Walk it off" version of "Well, if I knew then what I know now…". Truth is, everyone does this at some point in their life, and yes many people do it when they are where he's claiming he is.
