Jean-Pierre: Today the administration is announcing a new $275 million security assistance package, to help Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression…providing Ukraine with new capabilities, to boost it's air defenses, and counter the threats Ukraine is facing from Iranian UAVs.
Jean-Pierre: We have every reason to expect that we will continue to work with [Sinema] successfully.
Reporter: Was it [Griner trade] fair or not?
Jean-Pierre: The way that we see it is that this was an opportunity to bring an American home. That's how we saw the deal that was presented to us.
Reporter: Do you expect [Sinema] to caucus with democrats?
Jean-Pierre: We don't see a change in the democratic majority.
Jean-Pierre: [upon arriving in the United States] Griner was immediately taken to Brooke Army Medical Center…being offered a range of support options.
Jean-Pierre: We do not know the origins of COVID because of China's lack of transparency…this is something we, including [Biden], have pressed China on repeatedly….it's quite wonky, as you know.
Reporter: Musk alleged that [Baker] may have been involved with countermanding his attempts at transparency…was anyone in the administration was in touch with Baker either regarding moderation decisions, or regarding his transparency efforts?
Jean-Pierre: It's up to private companies to make these types of decisions. We we not involved. I can say that. We were not involved.

Reporter pointed out that Putin said 'nothing is off the table with future prisoner swaps'. Jean-Pierre claims that this swap was 'Griner or nothing'. Why would Russia be open to any swap in the future, but weren't at this time? Makes no sense, unless Jean-Pierre is once again lying to the public.
Reporter: Before the midterms, you told me that the Inflation Reduction Act should bring down inflation early next year. So if it doesn't do that significantly, is that seen as…[a failure]
Jean-Pierre [cutting him off]: That's a bunch of hypotheticals that you're asking me.
