Don't lose heart anon, sometimes we forget how important dads are, especially with the way society has been engineered for decades. Maybe it will take them some time to come around. I was like that myself for a while
To all the dads. You helped shape your children's lives no matter the situation or how often you were there in their lives. They don't always appreciate you right away and they can take time to come around. Call them up yourselves just to say hi and you're thinking of them. If they grew up to be independent even to the point they may have neglected to say "Happy Father's day" then you still did your job as a dad
