Wow! They make you go out and raise a big amount of money on your own in order to be on a committee. They put a price tag on it.
Gaetz is a good person to argue against McCarthy. He explains things well and has good arguments.
Dang Jason Chaffetz just said on Fox that in order for him to be chair of the Oversight Committee he had to cough up $875,000 and he asked if he was unable to do that they said then they want call him chairman

Real Clear Politics pegs the Congress as a whole with a 23.5% approval rating versus a 60.3% disapproval rating. That puts Congress underwater by about 37%. The leaders of both parties are also disliked by the American people. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is underwater by 20% and her Senate counterpart, Senator Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is a minus 12%.
