One thing the Brunsons might not of mentioned is how expensive it is to litigate and an average American does not have the money lying around to fund litigation. Am Lawfag so I know how expensive it is to even file a Complaint.

Hundreds of dollars to file a Complaint with the Court yourself. Have to pay for copying numerous copies of Complaint.
Have to hire a process server to serve the Complaint. They are not cheap. Some people don’t have $200-300 laying around.

Going in with other people would reduce your fees, anon. You are correct. I live in TX. Filing fee in E. TX is $402 just for the Complaint.
