BREAKING:(Tyrants)Twitter staff quickly pivoted to censoring 'medical misinformation' after banning Trump

Libby EmmonsDec 12, 2022

"Yes," one employee wrote, "we absolutely plan to do this in 2021 - with the timeline being 'as soon as possible."

No sooner had Twitter employees succeeded in mobbing sitting President Donald Trump off the social media platform in 2021 despite there having been no violations of Twitter's terms of service made by Trump than the tweeps, as they are known, took it upon themselves to censor medical information.

In Monday's installment of the Twitter Files, as told by Bari Weiss, it was revealed that as of January 9, 2021, one day after Trump's speech on Twitter was silenced, "employees expressed eagerness to tackle 'medical misinformation' as soon as possible," Weiss reported.

Internal communications show that Twitter employees were eager to take control of content and bend it to their own biases. "Yes," one employee wrote, "we absolutely plan to do this in 2021 - with the timeline being 'as soon as possible."

While COVID was the thrust, as the world was still engaged in an ongoing pandemic, the employee wrote that "COVID is one specific disease; medical misinformation is a much broader category of harmful content."

"We've laid a lot of the groundwork for policy and product behavior through our work on COVID and the election," the employee wrote, seemingly proud of their efforts to silence and suppress the voices of doctors, election officials, and civilians they did not agree with on these hot-button issues.

The employee went on to note the departments at Twitter that were hard at work censoring users on the platform, saying "the Misinfo Policy team… along with the folks in Health Experience, TwS, Research, and other teams across the company are now focussed on getting to a place of improved maturity in how our policies are actualized (across reporting, operations, global scale, scope, etc."

"We'll have more to share on this soon!" The employee wrote.

In response to this, another employee was also gleeful about the news that they could soon begin operating to suppress and censor content based on their own biases and assumptions rather than based on written policy.

"Very excited to see us handling more categories of misinformation," the employee wrote. "For the longest time, Twitter's stance was that we aren't the arbiter of truth which I respected but never gave me a warm fuzzy feeling.

"That said," the employee continued, "my dad is an MD (to give context) and medical information is a really hard topic. Even for COVID-19 we only covered a narrow category of information. As an example, is 'Take vitamin C, vitamin D, elderberry, and xylitol with GSE daily to reduce covid-19 risk' good information, creative marketing, or misinformation? Personally, I'm not sure and I suspect there are views on both sides."

It was in the spirit of banning "Covid misinformation" that people who criticized lockdowns and school closures, like Dr. Jay Bhattacharya was banned. In a previous Twitter Files drop, Weiss reported that Twitter prevented noted doctor Jay Bhattacharya's tweets from trending during the pandemic-inspired lockdowns.

Bhattacharya was an early critic of lockdowns and spoke out against their negative impact on children, who were not as susceptible to the Covid virus.

Information on alternative treatments for Covid were suppressed and censored, as well as any concerns about vaccine efficacy. Drunk with power off of the Trump ban, Twitter banned sitting US Rep from Georgia Marjorie Taylor Greene for citing US government statistics from the VAERS database, where Americans report vaccine side effects.

Alex Berenson was banned for asking questions about vaccines, as well. Berenson was reinstated, and he made an appearance on Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss what he learned after filing, and winning a lawsuit against Twitter.

"So Twitter, turns out acting on orders from the Biden administration, banned his account. Now, no one really knew that, people only suspected it. But now we know for certain because Berenson did something that Twitter was not expecting: he sued and he won," Carlson said.

The effect of Twitter's censorship of medical information was that many media outlets simply stopped covering vaccines, concerns over vaccine efficacy, or questions about the origins of Covid. The censorship over "medical misinformation" had a chilling effect on medical information of any kind that was not directly distributed in a press release from the Biden administration.

Trump special counsel Jack Smith subpoenas Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger

Mark Moore

The special counsel investigating former President Donald Trump has subpoenaed Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who the 45th president asked to “find” enough votes to allow him to win the Peach State in the 2020 election.

The subpoena from Jack Smith was dated Friday and received by Raffensperger’s office on Monday.

Attorney General Merrick Garland tapped Smith last month to oversee investigations into the 76-year-old Trump keeping classified White House documents at his Mar-a-Lago Florida estate, as well as the former president’s attempts to remain in power after the 2020 election — including his role in last year’s Capitol riot.

Georgia was among the states Trump and his allies targeted as he contested his defeat by Joe Biden.

In a phone call on Jan. 2, 2021, days before Congress would meet to certify the Electoral College results, Trump sought Raffensperger’s help.

“So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state,” the former president told him.

“There’s no way I lost Georgia,” Trump went on. “There’s no way. We won by hundreds of thousands of votes.”

But Raffensperger, a Republican, rebuffed Trump, telling him that “the data you have is wrong.”

The subpoena, obtained by the Associated Press, seeks “any and all communications in any form” between June 1, 2020, and Jan. 20, 2021, “to, from or involving” Trump, his campaign, lawyers and aides, including former campaign officials such as Bill Stepien and Justin Clark and lawyers John Eastman, Boris Epshteyn, L. Lin Wood, Sidney Powell and former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

The Trump White House efforts to reverse the Georgia election results are also the subject of a separate probe being run by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

A special grand jury as part of that investigation has already heard from a number of Trump allies, including Giuliani, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

Biden mounts kid-sized bike at Virginia Toys for Tots event after June spill

Steven Nelson

(Freak holding girls hand! WTF don’t parents protect their children anymore)

At least he didn’t fall off this time.

President Biden playfully crouched behind the handles of a child-sized bike Monday at a Toys for Tots charity event in northern Virginia.

The oldest-ever president, 80, showed his inner child while helping sort donated gifts at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall in Arlington.

Biden squatted atop the Throttle TR bike before relinquishing it to another young-at-heart helper to roll over to contribution bins for less-fortunate children ahead of Christmas.

Monday’s bike encounter went better for the president than when he took a tumble off his adult-sized two-wheeler while spending a June weekend at his summer home in Rehoboth Beach, Del.

An avid biker, Biden’s cycle of choice is a Trek FX 1 Disc, which a source described as “ancient” after his fall in June.

“I’d say nothing wrong with riding a bike at his age,” the source, a former Trek employee, told The Post at the time. “But he needs a bike that’s easier to get on and off.”

Moments earlier, the president gave brief remarks to the family members of Marine Corps members before lending a hand with the donations.

“Jill and I know how much you sacrifice,” the commander in chief said. “When our son Beau was deployed to Iraq, it was hard to look at the empty chair at our table every night during the holidays. And it was hard for our granddaughters when their dad wasn’t there on Christmas morning.”

“You have to be brave, even when your mommies and daddies are far away. They’re so proud of you,” Biden said to children seated before him.

“Now let’s get sorting these gifts,” Biden added — holding the hand of the child who had introduced him and walking toward the items to the tune of “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”

First lady Jill Biden also spoke, telling the group that she fondly remembered dressing up as the grinch from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” while her spouse was vice president.

Just before bouncing up and down on the small bicycle, the president took a question from the watching press corps.

A journalist asked if he authorized the deployment of US troops to Ukraine, apparently referring to an NBC News report on a “single digit” dispatch of soldiers to bolster a couple dozen already there to track US weapon donations.

“Are we sending troops to Ukraine? No, we’re sending materiel like we’ve had, billions of dollars [worth],” Biden said before jogging over to the bike at his only scheduled public appearance of the day…
