Twitter files #5 entry 37 - Mudge Zatko. Mudge was the face and voice of the Hacking group L0pht Heavy Industries back in the day. In 1997 he gave a talk at the Hacker Conference "Beyond Hope" along with his group - covering L0pht Crack - which Forced Microsoft into a situation of having to deal with public knowledge of how bad their network security was. These are guys that tried to do it quietly with no result so they went the more brutal path and saw results - slowly.

They appeared before Congress on the matter of Cyber Security at least

Twice that I'm aware of.

I always knew early days of these guys being white hats. Mudge is cybersecurity and not too keen on censorship.
