Hunter Biden was involved in a 2018 project by Burisma Holdings to export grain from Ukraine to China, a document from his abandoned laptop shows.

The scandal-scarred first son’s signature was among those on a Burisma board resolution dated July 27, 2018 that concerned the “Sino Ukraine Silk Road Grain Port” project.

In addition to Hunter, seven other members of Burisma’s board of directors authorized their adviser, Vadym Pozharskyi, to “represent with all Chinese Potential Shareholders for development, negotiation, and contracting issues as well as operation management of the project ‘Sino Ukraine Silk Road Grain Port’.”

Former CIA officer Joseph Cofer Black, a fellow Burisma board member, was also among those who signed off on the project, the document shows.

There is no further mention of the project on Hunter’s laptop — and it wasn’t immediately clear if the grain was ever shipped.

The revelation of Hunter’s ties to the venture came a month after his father’s administration accused China of stockpiling wheat amid a global food crisis fueled by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

A trove of e-mails on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop — the existence of which was exclusively reported by The Post in October 2020 — found that he played a role in helping a California defense contractor analyze killer diseases and bioweapons in Ukraine.

Moscow has claimed that secret American biological-warfare labs in Ukraine were a justification for its unprovoked invasion of the neighboring country last month. It doubled down on the accusations Thursday, claiming the labs produced biochemical weapons at the Biden family’s behest.

“US President Joe Biden himself is involved in the creation of biolaboratories in Ukraine,” Russia’s State Duma speaker, Vyacheslav Volodin said, according to state media.

Eight Twitter finance gurus charged with criminal pump-and-dump scheme

The US Department of Justice has charged eight online finance influencers with criminal securities fraud for running a $114 million pump-and-dump scheme on their collective 1.5 million Twitter followers.

According to an indictment, members of a Discord-based forum called Atlas Trading used that platform and Twitter to promote stocks they’d purchased in large quantities, making misleading statements about the stocks’ value and their intent to hold it. Once followers had driven up the price, the group allegedly secretly sold off the stock to maximize their profits. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filed a parallel civil complaint. Both complaints charge seven of the men directly with securities fraud, while an eighth member is charged with aiding the conspiracy through a finance podcast. The conspiracy allegedly ran between January 2020 through at least April 2022, covering an explosion of interest in securities trading during the pandemic.

The conspirators include Edward Constantinescu (who went by Zack Morris on Twitter and currently has 500,000 followers), Perry “PJ” Matlock, John Rybarczyk (who went by “The Stock Sniper,” with 267,000 followers), Gary Deel (“Mystick Mac,” with 143,000 followers), Stefan Hrvatin (“Lade Backk,” with 150,000 followers), Tom Cooperman (“Tommy Coops,” with 129,000 followers), Mitchell Hennessey (“Hugh Henne,” with 237,000 followers), and Daniel Knight (“Dan, Deity of Dips,” with 170,000 followers).Knight ran a podcast called Pennies: Going In Raw that was co-hosted by one of the alleged fraudsters and, according to the SEC, promoted the others as expert traders.

The defendants’ fraud charges carry a maximum penalty of 25 years each, and Constantinescu faces an additional 10 years from a charge of engaging in unlawful monetary transactions.

At one point, Knight mocks an unnamed co-conspirator who frets about getting caught and says he wants to make buys “the right way”: “The fcking right way? Former President Donald Trump teased an upcoming announcement with a superhero-themed video Wednesday, baiting his Truth Social followers with a promise of a major announcement the following day.

In the 15-second clip, the 76-year-old Trump told viewers that “America needs a superhero!” Fantastical music blared as the screen cut away to an animation of the former president posing like Superman in front of Trump Tower, tearing open his business suit to reveal a chiseled T-logo bodysuit and laser-like eyes.

The message concludes with text promising a “MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT” Dec. 15.

The bizarre video is not the first time Trump has borrowed from pop culture to promote his agenda. In November 2018, he famously teased sanctions on Iran by tweeting a “Game of Thrones”-inspired meme.

Months later, in April 2019, he tweeted a fan-made video aimed at his celebrity detractors set to the score of the 2012 film “The Dark Knight Rises.”

Trump announced his third consecutive presidential campaign Nov. 15, but his run has been overshadowed by a series of self-inflicted controversies and has so far failed to recapture the media buzz of his first candidacy in 2015 and 2016.

Trump’s team didn’t immediately respond to The Post’s inquiries, but speculation swirled on social media about what the announcement might be.

Guesses include Trump announcing a return to Twitter after CEO Elon Musk restored his account on Nov. 19.

Trump, who launched Truth Social last year, was booted from Twitter after his supporters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 in an effort to overturn his 2020 election loss to Joe Biden.

Other possibilities include Trump announcing his intended running mate or a long-shot bid to become speaker of the House of Representatives, which doesn’t require the officeholder to actually be a House member.

Republicans will take control of the lower chamber of Congress on Jan. 3 and House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) is struggling to secure the necessary 218 votes due to a conservative rebellion led by Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.). However, Republicans hold a slim 222-213 majority and just five GOP defections would deliver Trump a humiliating defeat. Two returning House Republicans voted to impeach Trump last year and earned his lasting ire, which would give the ex-president almost no room for further defections.
