>>17956018 On this day in 1988, President Reagan said: (PB)
With sharing this lovely Anthem (VID 4:09) recorded in 1945 by 1952’s Stalin Peace Prize awardee who happens to have a U.S. STAMP and countless U.S. structures in his “honor” -
May as well post a reminder of what Reagan said on October 23, 1947 in testimony to the The House Un-American Activities Committee (now defunct. See #34 of the 45 Communist Goals, read into the Congressional Record of Jan. 10, 1963 archive.is/cgbDt ) because it's not "Democrats" we're fighting:
Whether the Party should be outlawed, that is a matter for the Government to decide. As a citizen, I would hesitate to see any political party outlawed on the basis of its political ideology. We have spent a hundred and seventy years in this country on the basis that democracy is strong enough to stand up and fight against the inroads of any ideology. However, if it is proven that an organization is an agent of a foreign power, or in any way not a legitimate political party - and I think the Government is capable of proving that - then that is another matter. (KEK!!!) I happen to be very proud of the industry in which I work; I happen to be very proud of the way in which we conducted the fight. I do not believe the Communists have ever at any time been able to use the motion-picture screen as a sounding board for their philosophy or ideology. https://archive.is/BA8V6 https://wps.prenhall.com/wps/media/objects/108/110880/ch26_a5_d1.pdf
Columbia University and Communism In 1923 Paul Robeson received his law degree from Columbia. He turned from law to show business and was soon using his fame to promote and support Communist causes. In 1934 he went on a pilgrimage to the Soviet Union. In 1952 the Soviet government awarded him its Stalin Peace Prize. In 1954 he wrote a magazine article in praise of Vietnamese Communist leader Ho Chi Minh, who would soon be fighting a war against the United States. https://archive.ph/RBqgK https://archive.md/wip/RBqgK * https://historyhalf.com/columbia-university-and-communism/
To You Beloved Comrade - Tribute To Stalin By Paul Robeson by Paul Robeson (A tribute by Paul Robeson to Joseph Stalin upon Stalin's death on March 5, 1953. It was published in New World Review, April, 1953, and reprinted in Paul Robeson Speaks, edited by Philip Foner, pp. 347-349.) This is literally a Communist site: https://archive.ph/cQP58
