This bollocks already exists downunder, tried to buy a $11,500 keep sake item last year with cash i'd just put away in small amounts over a period of time, sales person said 'ah sorry sir we can't accept over $10k cash or we have to send a notification to the govt/tax office with driver licence and details to confirm before we can accept the payment'.
