Was digging into comms regarding C-Links/ES/Google and his travel and a few things stick out:

-Google has 2 private submarine cables: Currie (Los Angeles to Valpraiso, Chile) and Junior (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to Santos, Brazil)

-Google is invested in at least 11 cables total (but saw references to 13). Co-investors include Facebook, Microsoft, YouTube, Amazon on several like the Marea Cable from Virginia Beach to Bilboa, Spain

-There's a pattern to the cities/countries many of these connect but still working on finding common denominator (besides locations of data centers). Interesting which countries have huge webs of cables… (NZ, AU)

-Found one "closed loop" system so far: SEA-ME-WE 5 Cable which connects most of Middle East/Indonesia with France

-Interesting note is that C-Links comes up with the term "Bridges"

Have my theories, but lots of digging to do still.
